Awesome place! Staff and facilities are superb. Beds could be a tad softer but that is the only thing I could find wrong with this place. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

The location was just perfect! The staff and the owner were friendly and helpful and the access to the beach was great. The hotel is relaxing and and great restaurants were just a beach walk away! Also very safe parking is available.

It's a wonderful hotel. Only issue is if you're mosquito sensitive...which I am. I would encourage you bring tons of repellant and a candle or two of citronella

This was our second time staying here and it was even more beautiful this time! A few minutes walk to the center of Montanita and right on the beach. Hammocks outside each room and a restaurant on-site. Breakfast included. We will definitely stay here again!

The property is beautiful and well cared for. They're eco friendly and well located, a quick 5 min walk from the makeshift bus terminal on the main road. I slept great despite the noise from neighbors and the discotheques [I am generally a light sleeper]. The private beach is a plus, though I didn’t mind the vendors on the one day that I ventured over to the public side. Montañita Beach is gorgeous but has a spaced out shore line.
The young man did charge me tax at checkout; foreigners aren't supposed to pay taxes on hotels in Ecuador. The young man spoke great English, up until this moment. When I asked for an invoice, he said he couldn't understand me. Convenient. I will dispute with my bank. I'd still recommend the place, just be diligent.
