"The Comfort Inn Magnetic Hill exceeded my expectations. I was thinking it was going to be an older place and wasn’t sure what to expect because the price was so good. Much much lower than other newer hotels. However, I was delighted to see that It has been fully renovated. The place smells fresh and is bright. Halls well lit and rooms have all you need. Our room looked new and fresh, and seriously just the same as other more recently built newer hotel and suites that we had stayed at on previous weekends. The bathroom was clean and fresh and new. Lovely shower! The beds were comfortable, clean, and the decor was exactly as you would expect in a brand new hotel. If you do not require a lot of amenities, such as pool and gym., this is an excellent place to stay. The staff were so friendly and efficient at check-in and check out. The breakfast we hot and delicious with all of the usual options. Staff cleaned and refilled the space and kept up with the flow of visitors. I even felt so relaxed, my husband and I got lost in conversation and felt like we were having coffee at a cafe! It was so relaxing to stay in a place that does not have many rooms as a huge hotel. It feels more secure and truly comfortable. It was nice that we could park pur car so close to the side exit near our room. Super convenient! The location is central and we even found some really good Thai food at a restaurant down the street! Awesome experience- glad to be able to share this review of a great spot. Why pay more, when you just want a nice , fresh, comfortable room and a good breakfast in a convenient location? We travel a lot for our kids sports and our budget gets stretched every winter because the cost of a room at other hotels is $200 + , too high for just one night! I am truly impressed with the Comfort Inn, Magnetic Hill. I even made sure to tell the staff how much we loved it when we checked out. We will be back for sure!"

"Reviews we mixed. The couple who run this bent over backwards to make us happy. They have very little English, but lots of warmth. If you are the type of person whod be happy in a hostel then this works. You are downtown Moncton, maybe not the smartest spot. The bedroom/bathroom was clean and I slept well. They own two houses in the street. We had access to a kitchen, but maybe not the cleanest. If you like a sharp clean motel, then this isn't for you. If you are more adventurous then try meeting this couple. I was touched when the husband waved goodbye. 💙"

"In comparison, Moncton was the city with relatively low prices during my 10-day trip through the Maritime Provinces. The Crown restaurant, which I booked at the last minute, was also quite good value, and parking was convenient. The restaurant downstairs from the Hyatt across the street was delicious and inexpensive, especially the waiters who were genuinely attentive, chatting with guests and offering emotional support – they were truly eager to earn tips, which was very rare."

"The location and hotel were great. What was very disappointing was I booked a room with 2 Queen beds. When we checked in yesterday afternoon they said they upgraded my room to king size bed because of how busy they were. I said that was nice, but I was with my 81 year old father and needed 2 beds like I booked. They said oh sorry, but there's a couch in your room. I had 30 minutes to get ready for a family funeral, so I didn't have time to insist something be done. Needless to say I wasn't going to make my father sleep on the couch, so I did. Advised the front desk about this this morning and they said oh sorry."

"Hotel was ok. Best part was restaurant in lobby dinner was excellent . Room itself was in a way modern but smelled very stuffy . Air conditioning in room was sounding like a jet engine and beds were only double size. Pool was small and and very shallow not for adults. All in all would definitely recommend restaurant but would choose room in different hotel"
