Aqi Skanes Resort

What a fabulous resort that has absolutely everything you need for that great holiday whether it be to chill by the beach/pool or an activity based break. We stayed the last week of October and had the perfect weather 25-27°. Nice and busy complex but never had to fight for any subbed by the pools. Pool temperature was quite cold and the sea was warmer at this time of year. The hotel has its own private beach which has security on it and felt very safe when there. This was a very well looked after and clean beach with white sand and clear water. There is no shortage of food with plenty of choice at breakfast catering for all. Throughout the day you definitely won’t go hungry. Baguettes, rolls, freshly made donuts, ice creams, cakes, cookies and so on. Every meal time the food was tasty and plentiful. At dinner time they have a different theme every night which the food is based on and they decorate the restaurant accordingly. The desserts/cakes were really nice and lots of taste instead of just looking good like some all inclusive desserts/cakes. There is also an ala carte restaurant for one visit per stay which is bookable. Every staff member we met couldn’t do enough for you and appreciate every little tip you give. The beach has a beautiful restaurant with views over the beach for lunchtime. There is a salad carte and menu of burgers, spaghetti bolognaise etc. Every meal we had during our weeks stay was delicious and we often went up for extra servings. Special mention to Omar in the beach bar and restaurant who went above and beyond every day and feel he made our lunchtimes and evening meals special. The gym is a good size which we made use of and the entertainment staff worked so hard to entertain kids and adults throughout the day and evening with a good program of varied activities. Outside of this hotel there is nothing at all to do and a taxi or train ride is necessary if you want to explore but if you just want a week of relaxation and everything within reach like we did, then this is the place for you. I cannot fault this place and when we return to Tunisia in the future for a relaxing break, this is where we will stay!

Lovely hotel for families. Very clean and tidy. Room service is excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great. Entertainment staff were exceptionally good and inclusive. Special shout out to the Lovely customer services manager and Alladin, our rep was great. However, if you are looking forward to having some lovely cocktails, then don't bother. It has to be the worst holiday cocktails I have ever experienced

Value for money holiday . Please remember this when reading reviews ... This is 4 star in Tunisia the hotel I feel was spotless .. the rooms were a bit tired and some balconies were bigger than others ?? But not a major prob , our balc door didn't shut properly ( they fixed it within 30 mins ) . Ok the staff .. were the friendliest I've ever met ... A mention to Anis ( wunderbar ) hardest working man ... The young men in activity pool bar always smiling. And The animation team were the most interactive gang too , always trying to get everyone involved ( not your cup of tea just say no ) hats off to them for their dedication . Food was plentiful and well cooked .. don't forget the amazing freshly cooked donuts 4 pm everyday ,( gert lush ) they also produced a lovely birthday cake for 2 of our party x Deffo book a night in the Tunisian restaurant .. great food and ambience . The beach hut did amazing burgers and pizzas over looking the sea ..all inc too and don't forget the baguette and beach bar .. so not far to walk on a beach day for a sandwich or drink .. beach security all the time ... Ok looky looky ppl pass by at the shores edge .. security do not allow them to approach on the sand . Watersports reasonable £20 for 10 mins on a jet ski , etc The evening entertainment very acrobatic and circus style but clever . Great WiFi throughout resort .. which is great as expensive for mobile data there . The cleaning ladies need a mention... Poolside was spotless aswell as our towels rooms too ... A tip these staff work hard please tip them ... 4 tunisian dinar to the pound roughly .. I was happy to give 5 to 10 dinar alot and they were so grateful .. We did el jem colliseum excursion too which was awesome a must for history buffs , included was a pirate ship swim stop which was ok . I could go on but all in all it was a very pleasant stay and they work hard so deserve a great review ... Go with an Open mind xx

Wonderful holiday at a wonderful hotel. Food was amazing and the staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Entertainment was first class and very enjoyable. Rooms are well furnished and really clean. Pools and gardens really well maintained and a lovely clean private beach. No complaints at all apart from wish we'd stayed 2 weeks not just one.

I cannot rate this hotel enough. From start to finish it was the most perfect, relaxing holiday. The staff here work incredibly hard all day and all night long. From bar staff, animation team, lifeguards, waiters, groundskeepers, cleaners and maintenance, they never fail to smile or say hello. They really do make this place amazing. Food was great, always something to eat even for the fussiest of eaters! I do want to make a couple of personal shoutouts to the staff who made a real difference to our holiday. Sami (at the pool bar) was incredibly attentive and a joy to talk to and also Panda (from the animation team) always had time to chat and boy did that man have some moves! The rooms were spacious and cleaned daily (including fresh towels/bedding) Thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Thank you from Gemma, Owen, Evie, Oliver and Amelie!

Lovely hotel wonderful staff good food ,clean rooms The beach is nice the pools also lovely suitable for all ages. I personally enjoyed watching tennis matches. And i celebrated my birthday their so it was memorable It was a nice experience, i hade so much fun and made some good memories excited to comeback late August of 2024
