We came for two nights fell in love and stayed a week in mid June. The hosts are so very lovely, by the end of the week, they felt like old friends. Andre responds quickly and is very accommodating. The beautiful and talented Lidia pours her heart into the most beautiful and delicious gourmet meals. It’s important to know you need to arrange breakfast and dinner well in advanced. The meals are all made to order from farm to table and plentiful! So worth making the arrangements to eat most your meals here. Order the homemade wine! The location is the best in town if you ask me. I couldn’t see another apartment that checked all the boxes like Villa Marin did. Steps from the sea with amazing views. Steps from Lancana, which also has amazing food, cocktails, coffee and Ice Cream! Quick five minute walk to the small but surprisingly well stocked market. The market has fresh produce, fresh deli meats and fresh made bread, wine, beer, sunscreen, hats, floats and so so so much more. The nearest swimming platform is just across the road from Villa Marin, (more like a oversized sidewalk) and down some stone steps, tucked under the most beautiful stone arch way under Lancana Restaraunt that provides shade and internet! It’s also lit up at night, creating a magical place to sit and enjoy the moon reflecting off the water. I had the pleasure of touring the different apartments and they all delightfully decorated old European. It’s stepping back in time when relaxing was a afternoon nap, a evening swim with great meals and meeting new friends that feel like old ones. One week in this perfectly relaxed, quaint villa was not enough.
