Adamas Hotel

The Adamos hotel had many issues, although the location was great. We arrived late on the ferry due to terrible wind; it was a horrible 2 hour ride, but that is Mother Nature. When we finally arrived about 2 hours late with another couple, Sophie was very abrupt checking us in and really gave us little to no information. The room was clean and nice overall, but we were greeted with the attached sign letting us know we would not be getting clean towels for three days without a fee. The towels were so rough and smelled strongly of detergent/fabric softener. They were so rough it was like using a loofah to dry; I think they were hung on a line and not put in a dryer. There were also no beach towels available so we had to buy some since our room towels weren’t being replaced except at a cost. In addition, the toilet seat was not the correct one; it was too small so it was very weird and wiggly. The only toiletries were bottle of hand soap on the wall and a bottle of body wash in the shower sitting on the floor (it had fallen off and not been repaired). We never saw Sophie again. George got us a bottle of water the two times we asked for it. Breakfast was bland and exactly the same every morning. We actually skipped out and paid for breakfast the third morning; it was that bad: hard boiled egg, plain, thin ham and cheese sandwich, small scoop of yogurt, dry croissants, coffee and orange juice. The view of the harbor was lovely, but we had no windows in our room, just a door, and our table and chairs on the patio were right in front of the air conditioner vent; there was no where to move them to that was convenient.

Stayed here for 2 nights , the view outside the room is amazing. You see the whole port. The owner was also very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean but the bathroom did have a very overpowering sewage odour. One of the only downside was the stairs to climb up with our luggage wich was exhausting if you did not want to pay for a cab like us lol. Good location, 5min walk to downtown.

Thank you Sofia and George for a magnificent vacation. Your hotel and restaurant are such a wonderful place, we loved to stay at your hotel and to have dinner at your restaurant. You were always super friendly and helpful and had a lot of tips for us! We could see that you have created with your passion and love your hotel and restaurant. Great location and reasonably priced. Have to give a shout out to the lovely Nepalese couple that take care of the place. They were so helpful to us and made our stay very pleasant. Convenient to the ferries and lots of nice bars and restaurants adjacent.

Its a horrible little motel. It has a bed on almost on the floor with super hard mattress. Ants werec rawling all over the place. Very low on towels. No soap to wash hands. No front desk or telephone to ask anyone anything. We had to move immediately after the first night. Would not choose this place to stay, We were transfered from Portiani because they gave away our room. An other horrible place to vacation.

Nous avons eu une mauvaise expérience le jour de notre départ. En effet, nous avons réglé cash le solde de notre séjour alors que l'hotelier avait déjà débité le solde sur notre carte de crédit à notre arrivée sans nous avertir. A notre arrivée, nous lui avions pourtant précisé que nous réglerions le solde en espèces à notre départ. La personne à la réception ne nous a pas informés que nous ne devions plus rien. Malgré nos demandes répétées par mail et sms, l'hotelier s'obstine et ne veut pas nous rembourser la somme indûment encaissée. Le confort de la chambre est très sommaire. L'hôtel est situé en face du port et la nuit, les ferries qui accostent nous ont dérangés. Le petit déjeuner pourrait être meilleur avec de bons produits grecs.
