SMELLS BAD , FILTHY . HARDLY TURN ON HEATING . WE PAID £50 TO STAY BUT I WONT STAY THERE EVEN IF THEY PAY ME TO STAY .

Basil Fawlty would be proud of this hotel. I paid, in full, to Trip Com, showed my receipt and they still wanted more money. Suggest I go down the ban and get them £50. The room was awful. The TV was leaning into the table, wallpaper was missing. The electric duct was off the wall, the wardrobe door handle was missing, the chair was stained and the toilet seat wobbled. There IS a car park. It is filled with junk and takes forever to get anyone to open the gate. I parked in the municipal car park opposite. After the 4am fire alarm the other Mr Fawlty shouted at me because the key card didn't work and I needed it to be reset. An absolutely dreadful location.

We could not stay due to my 4yr old daughter being admitted to hospital, venue would not refund even due to extenuating circumstances and refused to cancel our booking, so we could still use it!!!!!!!!!, even tho we could not travel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place should not be allowed to operate, the receptionist was such an embarrassment to the company, the room was not as advertised, no towels, the bathroom outside our room and most probably used by more than one person, bathroom not really clean and toilet smells horrible as well as toilet seat broken, the Smell of the place is disgusting I caught a flu because room didn’t have enough heating, water kettle for tea with coffee and tea cups with no where to get water from, we just had to complete our stay as we actually booked this last minute, Trip should not associate itself with such a horrible property

Better sleep on footpath than goin there I was robbed shown different pictures but when reached there it was totally a different place full with junkies and smell of **** all round guy on reception was drunk badly and was very rude too. Room was tiny one totally different to what I saw online and it wasn’t even cleaned empty bottles of alcohol and remainings of smoked cigarettes was everywhere in the room. I didn’t even speak with them about refund and get out of there and went to a different place.

Poor qualities

Hotel stay in Manchester. The staff was kind and helpful, but the corridors were a mess due to the interior decoration and key exchange, and the wifi was sometimes on and off.

Just had my booking for July cancelled for apparent invalid cards (my everyday bank card and my active credit card). Called the number and was told they were renovating the rooms on those dates despite me not saying what dates we had booked. They then hung up on me. This was booked for the Oasis gigs so won't be surprised at all to see it back available in a week or 2 time at 5 times the price. Avoid. Sounds like a hole anyway.

The hotel is not worth to be in existence, the facility is not safe for one person to stay a second talk less of people sleeping in it. The mattress was stained, bedding was very unclean, loud noises throughout the night. Customer service was very poor, it was very horrible to stay there a second not to talk of minutes. Horrible and unpleasant all over the hotel, cable lying everywhere. It was very cold; heater was not functioning well. Shower room is very small and timescale everywhere. Shower is faulty, so not warm to shower, shower tub is cover with irritating black stuff that shower it was not well cleaned. I really pray disastrous event will not happen because the hotel environment both external and internal is not safe for people to stay in, the whole building should be renovated and management should be changed to avoid fatal incident happening within the hotel.

Nice Place to stay. The only issue was shared bathrooms but for the price, it was a fun. No Cons at all. Quite location and 24 hours reception are a great help for my business trip to middleton. Great overall

They don't do parties and don't have a bar or breakfast yet. Soon to start so I hope it will be there on our next visit. Stopped for a quick nap on our journey from London to Glasgow, never expected this place to be this much luxurious in this price. Room numbers are a bit trouble but 24 hrs reception is always there to help and get u back on track. Overall completely satisfied.

An absolute disgrace! How this place is even legal is beyond me and living in such squalor is absolutely disgusting. I would genuinely rather sleep on a park bench over this place. This hotel isn't even fit for the homeless, which speaks volumes. This mould, dirt ridden place needs demolishing.

The hotel is dreadful, the worst place I have ever visited. There were two receptionists at various times. Both were rude to everyone. The room was poorly described. The TV table was particularly broken, there was missing wallpaper. The electrical cable duct had come off the wall. Both the bed headboard and the toilet seat wobbled. The wardrobe door was missing a handle and the chair was stained. There were even slithers of broken glass on the reception floor. Outside was just as bad. Most of the letters were missing from the hotel sign and the car park was less tidy than the local rubbish dump. Avoid this place like the plague.

Starting with the staff, upon arrival, we were greeted with an irritated eye roll. While checking in, we were passionately glared at by two women who i presume worked there. The man checking us in didn’t seem to know what was going on and just flung the room key at us. The room. I wouldn’t have stepped into the shower in a hazmat suit. A concoction of filth including blood and ***** hair. Even if we had risked it all and attempted this bushtuker trial, we would have had to dry ourselves with the bed sheet as there were no towels. After many tries of trying to put the kettle on, we realised the lead had been snapped off so that was our brew out the window - although based on some of the other reviews, that was probably for the best. Do not enter the bed with any force, bruising extremely likely. This mattress was rock solid. After leaving the dump for some dinner, we realised we were not provided with the code to renter the property. It was only by chance that there was someone still on reception or we would’ve been locked out. Sleeping on the street wouldn’t have been much worse than this bacteria-ridden skip. I guess this place could work for anyone interested in a seedy one night stand but nothing more.
