The place was fit for purpose. And it was as advertised. There was no coffee and tea facilities in the room which would have been nice because the restaurant/ dining are is closed.

The hotel does not have breakfast. There is only one waiter but he is not there in the morning. You can just leave the key in the room when you check out.

My stay at Hotel Bohn was short but sweet - it was decent enough for two nights, and I did feel comfortable and safe in the room as a solo female traveller. The furnishings seemed new, and the room smelled like new wooden furniture. The bathroom was spick and span, and bigger than I was expecting! The room is very basic, but it was totally sufficient for my needs on this trip. My room had a sky light, which was nice during the day but was an issue in the early morning when the sun came up (I think the motorised shade that was meant to be drawn over the window was broken as it wouldn't respond to any of the buttons I was pressing?) so I strongly recommend you bring an eyemask with you just in case. I had a room towards the back of the hotel so I didn't hear any of the noise from the main road during the night. It was quiet and peaceful, and I slept very soundly. Location was excellent for where I needed to go.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the house. When booking, it was not pointed out that one of the booked rooms did NOT have a normal window, but only a window in the ceiling. It smelled musty in the room. We took note of a renovation of the walls and a new acquisition of the furniture. In the second room it was so badly soundproofed that resting was not possible. The door to the bathroom/toilet could not be locked, since the door handle - with probably newly installed doors - would otherwise be in your hand when closing... The price-performance ratio was not right here!
