The pictures are lovely. The place is worn and dirty. The lobby area is fine. Sometimes the hotel staff looks up from their phones to great you and sometimes not. We stayed in a king room, but it was cramped. There was only 12-15” between the bed and the wall. It was tight for me, but nearly impossible for my husband. The room would have been much better with a queen bed. The walls and floors are dirty. The breakfast was nice but simple, fruit, store bought breakfast pastry, hard boiled eggs and yogurt. The pictures of hot breakfast must have been previously offered. Nothing like that now.

Hotel with great ambience. It's small and people staying there naturally come to talk to each other but only if they want to. Rooms were clean and the bed seemed new and was good though a little small. The location was fine and close to several nice places ro eat.

Joy sprang from within me and happiness surrounded me when I was a guest at this wonderful Boutique hotel in Centro Merida. I was very pleased with the bilingual staff’s warmth, attention and service. Breakfast was a delicious delight. As a 92 year senior who loves to walk, the location is perfect. I highly recommend Hotel del Peregrino

My husband, daughter and I enjoyed breakfast at Hotel del Peregrino. We were fascinated and thrilled with the ambiance of the hotel. The staff was warm and welcoming and courteous. On a tour of the facility we were extremely impressed with the decor, the cleanliness and comfortability. Our breakfast was well prepared, well presented, and delicious. I loved the unique feeling of being in a house and not a hotel. The only thing we didn’t like was the sink in the bathroom leaked and the floor would sometimes be wet. Other then that we loved it.

Hotel del Peregrino is a comfortable and nicely decorated boutique hotel convenient to Merida center and also Avenida Montejo. If heading into the center on foot, I recommend NOT walking down Calle 56, it is trafficky and not so pleasant as 58, 60 (the best though currently with some renovation, but still walkable) or 62. Many of the rooms are up stairs, so if you are not very mobile, ask for a room on the ground floor. Breakfast is a cold buffet (with tea/coffee/toast)-- good variety. Staff are pleasant and helpful.

Charming colonial house converted into a great place to stay while visiting Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. We spent a memorable 2 weeks at Hotel Del Peregrino and it was fabulous!!!! The staff was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. We arranged all our tours and outings through the front desk and they delivered outstanding results every time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Merida. Its location is perfect to all the action of colonial Merida, without the noise of a busy downtown.
