Kuntino Suites

My boyfriend and I often travel by the seat of our pants and don’t have reservations when rolling into town. We were checking out Merano hotels the day before arriving and almost every hotel room was booked. We kept seeing Kuntino Suites pop up on our online searching. Online this place looked gorgeous and clean. How could it possibly be available right now? So, we take a chance and booked it. Whoa!!!!! Did we strike gold!!!!!!!! What a GEM of a place. It’s fairly new…Hence why it wasn’t booked (lucky for us!!). It’s brand new, expertly laid out, modern, CLEAN, cool, location can’t be beat. It has a beautiful and functional kitchen, which we didn’t use, but the plates and cups and utensils were spotless! The host Aurelie was perfection! Her and her family own the property. Besides just being adorable, she was so knowledgeable and took a genuine interest in us and our stay in Merano. We loved her. She sure knows how to run a property! They have a cafe on the first floor of the apartment - normally we venture out to eat, but stopped there for a quick bite and coffee before we headed out for the day. It was phenomenal (all the locals were there so that's a good sign!) . If we go back to Merano we will stay here again (if it’s available!….I have a feeling it’s going to be booked because it was such an absolute GEM of a place!)

If you look for the best accommodation in Merano, this place is highly recommended! We stayed at the Sir Markus appartement at Kuntino Suites. They have 9 appartements, different sizes and different features. Ours had a small terrace, big bathroom with rain shower, 2 toilets, cost sitting area, great bed and big kitchen area with seating as well. Although you do not need a kitchen (plenty of restaurants and bars at your doorstep), it’s great to have the space of the appartement. Why I think it’s the best? 1. The size and the modern, sophisticated decoration and atmosphere. The owner has travelled a lot and you can tell this by the details and features you fancy when you travel 2. The location, in the heart of old town of Merano with good isolation so the noise does not bother you. 3. The Kuntino bar downstairs makes it easy to enjoy breakfast, drinks and lunch just in the same building 4. The staff, they are so super friendly and they understand what hospitality is. They have loads of tips, make restaurant bookings and help you with anything you might need. This is why we recommend the place. You will not be disappointed!

Sehr gut ausgestattete Appartements. Sehr ruhige Lage obwohl mitten im Zentrum. Alles sehr luxuriös. Freundlicher Empfang. Gehobene Ausstattung. Ruhiger Garten zum Relaxen mit angebundenen Service des Cafés. Parkmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Appartamento funzionale (es. la presenza di zucchero, sale, pepe; sapone, shampoo e bagnoschiuma); attrezzatura adeguata in cucina; accappatoi e ciabatte di spugna in bagno. Pulizie giornaliere. Ha addirittura un terrazzino! Parcheggio a due minuti e bar sottostante. Posizione strategica anche per passeggiate vicine senza muovere l’auto. Accoglienza straordinaria (grazie Aurelie!).

Abbiamo soggiornato per 9 notti in questa struttura trovata per caso cercando su internet, le nostre già alte aspettative sono state abbondantemente superate perchè non potevamo fare una scelta migliore : la struttura da pochissimo ristrutturata, è situata nel centro storico di Merano. La nostra suite era quindi nuovissima, impeccabile sotto ogni punto di vista e dotata di tutti i comfort: il letto molto comodo, angolo lettura, piccolo spazio esterno attrezzato con tavolino e sedie, salottino con televisore, cucina attrezzata con tutto il necessario per consumare i pasti in camera, servizi con ampia doccia e prodotti per l’igiene personale di una nota marca (garanzia di ottima qualità), tutto estremamente pulito, insomma non potevamo veramente chiedere di più. Inoltre, l'impianto di condizionamento a pavimento (per noi una novità assoluta) ha garantito la giusta temperatura in camera senza fastidiosi rumori e spifferi di aria fredda. Accanto alla struttura è presente un bar/bistrot (gestito sempre dagli stessi proprietari) nel quale è possibile consumare un’ottima colazione assaporando prelibatezze dolci e salate. In aggiunta a tutto questo, segnaliamo l’estrema cortesia e gentilezza dei proprietari che hanno dimostrato sempre una grande attenzione e disponibilità nei nostri confronti regalandoci una vacanza indimenticabile. Siamo rimasti così contenti che non vediamo l’ora di ritornare. Infatti, appena rientrati da Merano, abbiamo subito prenotato un soggiorno a fine novembre per vedere i mercatini di Natale. Super schöne und hochwertige Appartements mitten in der Altstadt von Meran direkt unter den Lauben. Unten der Trubel einer angesagten Touristenstadt und und oben im Appartement absolute Ruhe und Entspannung. Die Appartements sind komplett ausgestattet, so dass man sich in der Küche auch selbst versorgen kann. Jede Menge Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind in 2 Minuten zu erreichen. Ein Parkhaus mit Sondertarif für eine längere Parkdauer ist 5 Minuten entfernt. Super nette Gastgeber, die ständig vor Ort sind und mit allerlei Tipps unterstützen. Eine absolute Wohlfühloase, wenn man mitten in der Stadt mit allen Möglichkeiten seinen Urlaub verleben möchte.

Freundlich - offener - herzlicher Empfang. Tolle hochmoderne Zimmer mit angenehm minimalistischer Ausstattung ohne viel Schnick-Schnack. Ruhe im sonst sehr lauten Meran. Schlafzimmerfenster ging leider nicht ‚nach draußen‘, was bei dem schon wochenlang heißen Meran die Fußbodenklimaanl. in die Knie zwang - schade. Dennoch: gerne wieder. Der Kaffee im angeschl. Kuntinos schmeckt - die Geräuschkulisse erinnert allerdings mitunter an eine Bahnhofshalle…
