"Newer hotel with nice modern room with high ceilings. Good bathroom with large shower. Hot water and pressure was good too. Toiletries and hair dryer provided. Wifi was good. Beautiful big pool but we did not use it. Easy free parking in hotel lot. The room had a refrigerator but I’m not sure why because the hotel has a policy of no outside food in the building! This was the one big negative. The hotel has a restaurant. There are no others you can walk to. Excellent buffet breakfast with lots of choices in the morning. The hotel is located near the autoroute but away from Meknes centre. It’s on a busy street. Our room faced the pool so the noise was mitigated. It did not bother me but I could see it bothering others. You also can hear your neighbours tv through the wall. I would have rated this hotel higher except for the food policy. It is good for a 1 or 2 night stay for those arriving by car."

Air conditioning is also loud. There is no swimming pool, just a pool on the roof, you can soak your feet. Overall, it was the front desk that checked out on the last day. I felt very unhappy and pulled my face. The first lady who stayed in front was okay. There is a restaurant next to it, and the music is too noisy to hear the whole street. But it has nothing to do with the hotel. The overall price is a bit high."

It is conveniently located right next to Lhadim and the local markets, and Omar is a wonderful host. The riad itself is newly renovated and absolutely stunning - a tranquil haven from the bustling streets of the old city just outside. I have traveled all over Morocco and this is one of the nicest riads I’ve stayed in! The perfect place to stay in Meknes!!"

"Unfortunately I have a disappointing review to tell. I book a room with my friend in January whilst booking short noticed. We arrived have an hour later and found closed doors. Trying to call the number written on the door, nobody responded nor answered. We were waiting in front of the door until 21.00 when the check-in time stops. Tired from our journey we were forced to find another accommodation and they won't refund our money. Later they contacted us, saying that the guy of the shift was staying on the roof and couldn't hear our telephone nor the knocking ..."

"This establishment practices overbooking, and the owner lies to his customers. We had to cancel our rooms. It seems, from reading the reviews, that we're not the only ones who've been scammed. The very friendly receptionist asked us to leave upon arrival and put us in a riad next door with no pool and nothing to do with it. We had to call the manager to cancel our reservation because it was non-refundable. We had half a day in Meknes; you can imagine the hassle and the wasted time. Two of us with reservations on the same day had this experience (also French). We've been visiting Morocco for 30 years, and the reception we received was our worst experience—it has to be one! 😂"
