Four Seasons Hotel Megeve

If you value aesthetics, clean air and moderate summer temperature, this could be your next summer vacation. The hotel and rooms are 5 star+. Location is a short drive away from the city center, with the most stunning view of the mountains. You can enjoy the view when you have breakfast and dinner from the restaurants. Staff is super prof and there is lots of them. As summer is off season, the city is not crowded and there are plenty of hiking routes where you can be yourself. We did several hiking tours and eMTB with excellent guidance from the concierge service. The kids club with houses, rabbits and chicken is outstanding. There is even a very big sports center in the city with olympic pool. The shuttle service is very effective and takes you to the city in 10 min. This was our second stay, and we value this hotel the highest of all the 5 start hotels we have stayed in. This has become our favourite active summer destination.

We had the absolute privilege of staying at the Four Seasons Hotel Megeve for 2 nights in late August. I have never experienced anything like it. The hotel design and decor is extremely comfortable, and the staff went abobe and beyond to make every aspect of our stay memborable. The spa is comfortable and clean and the staff and services were very relaxing. Breakfast is served on a comfortable balcony in the most scenic environment. Upon learning that we would be departing to complete the TMB, the hotel staff wrote a note of encouragment and support. This was such an incredible experience, and I cannot wait to go back!

A very luxurious hotel with extremely comfortable rooms and excellent attention to detail. Service was faultless. Room was spacious and so comfortable. Large bathroom with separate toilet. The staff were so helpful and always there to open doors etc. They really were exceptional. The only disappointment was breakfast. Perfect for people who love a huge buffet - there was everything one could possibly want - but for someone who only wants a bowl of muesli, the 62Euro is ridiculous. Likewise, the light meal we had in the bar cost an absolute fortune in Aussie dollars (I had a vegetable risotto and my husband had a hamburger so nothing special). All said, I’d recommend it if you want to splurge.

What a magnificent experience from arrival to departure. Looking forward to our return. The staff is what makes this place come alive .

The Four Seasons Megeve is a magical place to vacation. My wife and I travel all around the world and the hotel definitely lives up to Four Seasons standards. The service was exemplary, with special mention going to the Concierge Manager, Baptiste Andrieu. He made our stay memorable and easy based on the remarkable service he provided. The valets and transportation drivers who took us everywhere were also delightful. Our room was great with every amenity. It was nice returning from nearby hikes and being able to enjoy the pool, although there should be more chairs to make easier to find seating. The hotel definitely is a five star experience and thank you, especially to Baptiste for making it more special. Four Seasons should be proud.

The pool is beautiful with incredible views of the mountains and the most comfortable sun loungers ever, the spa is just outstanding - we all really enjoyed our summer stay. We travel often with FS and felt very welcome, there are many activities to enjoy for a sporty and active family we had a great time again! I am sure we will be back soon.

Rooms poorly designed and amenities not nice. Service was superficially obsequious but staff was mostly seasonal and not well trained in basic competence. Gym was not nice and not air conditioned even in summer. Pool closed needlessly early and lacked a hot tub which is odd at a ski-oriented resort.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was exceptional. My only disappointment was the lunch and dinner food. It was average at best.
