Le Bosphorus Hotel - Waqf Safi

Ketika saya memesan hotel ini, kami tidak yakin dengan kedekatannya, tetapi ketika kami tiba, kami terkejut betapa dekatnya hotel ini dengan Haram. Rata-rata kami membutuhkan waktu 5 hingga 7 menit untuk memasuki Haram. Razan :) di meja depan sangat membantu, dia mengakomodasi kebutuhan kami. Saya dan istri bepergian dengan anggota keluarga lain yang termasuk anak-anak kecil. Kami memiliki total tiga kamar dan setiap kamar sangat luas dan memiliki semua fasilitas dasar yang dibutuhkan. Sarapannya sama lezatnya dengan banyak variasi untuk semua orang. Tidak peduli jam berapa seseorang bepergian untuk umrah atau haji, tempat ini sangat ramai dan hotelnya penuh sesak begitu pula Haram. Tetapi Razan dan timnya membuat masa inap kami sangat nyaman. Kami pasti akan menginap di tempat ini saat kami pergi lagi Insya Allah. Terima kasih tim La Bosphorus!!!!

The first day we arrived we found that the shower water pressure is very weak and you need double the time to take a shower. we told the receptionist and they send a plumber after 1 hour. He worked for more than half an hour and we needed to go to Haram because it is prayer time so we left him working. When we get back we found that the situation is still the same and now there is leaking from the ceiling. We called the reception and complained and they sent the same guy after long time. When he cane and saw the leak he said this can not be fixed, contact the reception to change the room. We contacted the reception and they said we cant do anything, this is the situation in all the rooms. Another problem is that starting from the 2nd or 3rd day no one come to make the room despite that we put up the sign and leave for 4-5 hours. There was no tea, milk, coffee or sugar unless you ask for them. And after we asked they provided it one time only. When I checked in I asked the receptionist how does it cost me to add breakfast to the reservation because I was in a hurry and did not do it when I booked. She told me no need and that she will add it as a gift and I can join breakfast tomorrow at the resturant. Next day I took my 80 years old Mom downstairs to the resturant just to be embarrassed by that I am not registered for the breakfast and can not enter the resturant. The room is noisy and you can hear the street sounds, the neighbors and the corridors (I was in the 6th floor)

Overall, this is a decent hotel, generally the staff are good in the restaurant but, the staff in the ground floor lounge and bell boys need specific customer training how to be polite, as well as front desk staff. Location - For me in my late fifties, I would say to get to Haram it is a 20min walk to get to gate 22, for ladies the haram gates are fairly nearby but, still a good walk. If your in your 20's, 30's 40's it probably will be a "walk in the park" and you will not notice it. Restaurant Breakfast and Evening Meal - Staff are great, not a great variety, I felt it was very congested with the amount of people that were in the restaurant as there is only one restaurant to accommodate a lot of people. Food is of fairly good standard quality but, certain things can run out. They do have an omelette station and overall I would say the staff tend to look after you and if you want anything specific they will do their utmost best, to help. Rooms - We booked a triple room and it was a good size triple standard room for 3 people and in fact, we had 4 beds in our room. Cleaned daily and I have no complaints about the room whatsoever. Atmosphere - It is a busy hotel with people from all over the world but, felt there were more europeans which was great and in general, a pleasant atmosphere with cold water and Arabic coffee/dates available in the seating area daily which is a nice touch. The hotel itself was very clean and they have 4 lifts so, there was no congestion here. One thing I would say if you have a disabled person with you, they do NOT provide designated wheelchairs, it's whatever there is available at the time. Hence, ensure you bring one with you. For me, it's a decent budget hotel but, in future god willing I would prefer to book nearer to Haram as I felt it was quite a distant for me personally to walk. Not that I mind walking but, in the 40 degree heat it was very hot. I feel it was good value for money and a decent budget hotel.
