Der Siegeler B&B - This Lifestylehotel Rocks

We’re just back from a 2024 New Year’s ski ⛷️trip to Mayrhofen with friends and family, and had a great stay at Der Siegeler. Travelling as a group of 9 friends and family, the hotel was ideal for parents and parents and young adults. The rooms are large and comfortable with daily housekeeping, breakfast offered a wide choice of dishes and the bar had a great evening vibe. Mike, the owner, really looked after us dealing with any requests without question, and the bar staff were super friendly 👍😀🍻 Located within walking distance of the main Penkenbahn lift🚠and Mayerhofen town centre, Der Siegeler is also perfectly located. Der Siegeler comes highly recommended as a good value family friendly place to stay. We’d definitely stay again. Thank you 🙏 Mike and team.

Just back from a great week at Der Siegeler, the hotel has a modern vibe, and touches of the old tool, with some really interesting ornaments and photos on the walls, which showed some of the history of the building. The hotel is as described, rooms big and lovely, the finish is high quality and I'd definitely go back. The maids made up our rooms every day and left the duvets in the shape of hearts, really nice little touches like that made a difference. Mike the owner/manager is everywhere, he's manning the front desk, the bar and making the breakfasts. He is genuinely warm and welcoming, and you can see the pride he has in running the hotel. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and a decent selection, you won't go hungry there. Mikes sports bar is a great little spot, the staff in there are brilliant, and the service is spot on. It has a nice atmosphere and there was always some sports on the TV too, it was a great place to have a drink and chill out after the manicness of the apres ski bars near the lifts. Would recommend for a stay in Mayrhofen

Great hotel!! Very clean and comfortable. We have now spent our skiing holiday in Mayrhofen for the 2nd year with Der Siegeler as our hotel both times. The rooms are well equipped, wonderfully comfortable double bed, couch, small fridge, kettle and large size TV. Also sufficient storage space for clothes. Shower / toilet room also very neat and clean. There is a nice rain shower. Room cleaned daily and towels changed regularly. Beds are neatly made every day. Housekeeping ladies deserve a compliment for this! Each room also has a good-sized balcony with a seat and view of the mountains. Breakfast is served buffet style. You can take a seat in various rooms to consume this. All the food on offer is fresh, extensive and constantly replenished. There are TV's in every room on which webcams of the various ski areas can be seen in the area. You can park your car on the adjacent site, there is a ski depot in the basement of the hotel and the ski bus stops in front of the hotel. We ourselves had rented a locker at the bottom of the Penkenbahn where we had our skis, with a walk of about 10 minutes from the hotel through the cozy Mayrhofen, it was easily accessible. Michael is an friendly host and the ladies in the service also do their utmost to make the guests feel comfortable. The hotel is located on the edge of Mayrhofen, outside the (busy) center with the noisy apres ski bars and their visitors. Very pleasant. The only small downside can be that you occasionally hear the noise of the bar visitors. Our room was on the 3rd floor and we had no problems with that.

We had a fabulous week in this gem of a hotel! The location, the staff and the gorgeous rooms added to a super ski week. Mike and his team were amazing and did their best to ensure we had the best time. The breakfast was lovely and the general atmosphere throughout was top notch. Mikes sport bar was buzzing for the 6 nations too! I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone! We will be back!

Friendly and helpful staff, small but well appointed rooms, nice breakfast...all in all a very nice stay and can heartily recommend! Right in the heart of Mayrhofen, very easy walk to many shops and restaurants.

We stayed for week, as a group of lads and we’re all impressed. The hotel was absolutely superb. The rooms were first class, a great ski locker room, a great sport bar with Mike and all the staff really looking after us all. Thanks for a great holiday.
