The hotel is wonderful, the rooms are very nice, and all stuff is extremely friendly. The atmosphere of the hotel is elegant, everything is very clean, but also very relaxed, calm and comfortable. The areas at the restaurant, pool, and beach are devided in smaller parts, so you feel very private everywhere. The beach is calm, there are no big hotels and many people nearby. For swimming in the sea you should always use bathing shoes because of the corall-parts, and it is very shallow in the lagune. I can recommend the rooms with sea-view, it's really worth it.

Lovely small hotel, food very good, room comfortable and clean, staff very helpful and organised a fantastic boat trip to swim with dolphins. Only downside was the shower and changing facilities on late check out, were promised shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and comfortable place to change, however it was a shower cubicle by the pool only containing shampoo. Other than that would highly recommend

We spent awasome days in the cosy atmosfere of the hotel the Bay and very tasty kitchen especially in the evening! Thanks to Emilie, Doochika, the owner and all kind staff, who were perfect! We enjoyed the swimming pool even in late evening! The choice for dinner was so vary and well prepared - beef or fish -thanks to Cheff! You are just in 2 steps from the beach and enjoy marvelos sunsets with coctails! I duly reccomend this butique hotel and we will come back again!

It's a beautiful setting right on the beach. Our room was spotless, with lovely towels, bed, and bedding. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The only slight issue was the restaurant. The food was generally good when it arrived, but we often waited a long time to get service, and our orders were muddled or incorrect at times. The food also arrived lukewarm at times and appeared to have been sitting under a heat lamp with film on top of the sauce, etc. I found breakfast really frustrating. The energy required to get a coffee was significant. The staff appeared to hang around the bar chatting and not looking at the needs of the customers. This is really a training issue that needs addressing, as it makes what could have been an outstanding experience a good one.

It was an extraordinary experience, even exceeding expectations. The hotel is a real jewel: few rooms, an intimate atmosphere, extremely clean and attention to every detail. You have the feeling of being at home, which helps to create a very relaxing environment. The restaurant is equally refined, with a romantic setting and a breathtaking view of the sea: watching the sunset while dining is an experience we will hardly forget. A special thanks to all the staff, always kind and smiling, in particular to Mrs. Emily and Chef Jonathan, who delighted us with his delicacies. I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Mauritius: it is in an ideal location, a short distance from the main attractions and the most beautiful beaches

A beautiful, relaxed and stylish hotel where the staff aimed to please and the natural beauty of the island could be fully appreciated: fabulous sunsets and crystal clear sea. The rooms were impeccably clean and the breakfasts delicious. Would highly recommend a stay.

Good service, but the bar is right outside the rooms, and people are noisy until late at night. The hotel staff were completely unresponsive when I asked them - at 11oclovk at night! - if they could ask thief guests to be more quiet. Won’t stay there again! Not a good experience. Plus, if you park in the road outside, the locals will slash your tires. 2 of them , to make sure you are completely stationary

The hotel was great with a fabuleus view from the restaurant and private beach. Hotel staff was great very helpful and kind! Great housekeeping and reception! The food in the hotels restaurant is amazing! The location on the island was perfect. Would recommend this hotel!

We were a group of friends doing the Dodo trail run event in the Black River National Park. The Bay was the perfect accommodation option - centrally located, nice rooms, good range of dining options and excellent service. Emilie and her service team were fantastic!
