We booked a quad room for a couple of nights in this hotel on our way to Barcelona. The hotel and room were clean and quiet. The walls were not thinner as compared to other hotel rooms we stayed previously. The room was spacious enough for the four of us. Shower was located in the bathroom tub. This hotel is located within a few metres walk from the bus, Metro and tram stations. There are lots of eateries in the surrounding but dominantly from northern-African influence. A few suggestions for improvement: - The breakfast was quite basic for 12 Euros and it felt like a strict cost efficiency exercise for profit maximisation as the platter offered were strictly measured per person, irrespective of their built. - The bathroom towels have exceeded their lifespan and require renewal. Otherwise, staff at reception in general were multi-tasking and approachable. Christiane, who mainly looked after us during our stay was helpful, receptive and disciplined.

A very good, neat, and fantastic location, nearby the metro stations, food, pharmacies, and fruit shops. The staff are fantastic, so helpful and friendly. I love their breakfast and food selection too. I wish to visit them again someday thx.

The quality price ratio, together with the absence of elevator are the main weaknesses of this hotel. Among competion, one can easily find a chained-brand hotel at a lower price. However, on the upside of my rating, I have to point out the outstanding kindness of the staff, as well as the pleasant back yard.

We really enjoyed our 3 day stay at Hotel Azur. The staff were fantastic especially Lauren and Sophie. Great location for us as it was close to the station and easy access to the autoroute when leaving. Extremely comfortable. Breakfast in the garden was delightful. Very good value.

The location was perfect for us. We used public transportation from MRS to St Charles station. The hotel was only about a 10 minute walk. It is also close to plazas and cafes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean. AC worked well. There is no elevator but we knew that was the case. Overall we were satisfied.

Excellent location, the nearest metro 5 minutes walk, convenient connection to Saint-Charles railway station. The Old Port is a 15-minute walk along the famous Rue Canebières. Friendly staff, cozy lobby and terrace in the courtyard. I booked a double room for myself alone and it was the right choice, since the room is quite cramped even for one person. As for the shortcomings, there are several of them: 1.The hotel does not have an elevator, I was accommodated on the 3rd floor, climbing the spiral staircase with luggage was not easy 2.Breakfast was not worth the 12 euros I paid, a very poor choice for that money, if I knew in advance I would prefer to have breakfast at the nearest bistro. 3.Despite the fact that the hotel is non-smoking, there was a distinct strong smell of tobacco in my room, my clothes became saturated with this smell overnight, it was terrible.

Mini refrigerator in rooms. Close walk to eateries. Breakfast was a plus and the ambience was peaceful. A great way to start the day. Average cost of $12 for Uber ride to the port.Fair distance to other must see scenic locations. Whole we were I was there there were riots every night. Safe during the day, beat to stay indoors before sunsets.

A small little hotel, rooms spotless, bed very very comfy, excellent location, staff very friendly, and the breakfast was rather nice too, ideal hotel for a short break, tram a 2 minute walk to take you into city centre or old port for exploration

A tidy but also tiny room and bathroom. No elevator, a bit expensive for what it is but alright for one night. Nice and helpful staff ad the reception though. We had the room facing the inner courtyard, so it was actually quiet.
