Riad BE Marrakech

Im still here and always forget to write reviews but i really wanted to write one for here as its such a beautiful wonderful place with the most amazing caring staff. Its so stylish, smells just devine and the breakfasts are wonderful. We had a small matter with our room on day 1 and they moved us quickly and efficiently. It's a very peaceful place and I would recommend all our friends and family without hesitation. 5 star plus service. The owners have done themselves proud. Stayed in other riads and hotels outside town here but not even on the same level on this little oasis.

Don't trust the pictures on the Internet, they don't match what you'll get once you're there. OK, the riad is pleasant, but that's all. It is not well maintained, the furniture is a bit old and sometimes dirty. The room we had, the largest (and also the most expensive), had a terrible smell of damp coming from the bathroom. When booking online, I pre-booked dinner for the first night, thinking we would have something special. But when I asked for it, no one knew about it. The guy on the reception told me it was fine and I'd just have to order off the new menu. What a lovely menu! Dinner was ridiculously uninteresting. We had a choice of chicken tagine, vegetable tagine and lamb tagine (sorry, no lamb today), some fried food and local salads. The salad was ok, the fried food was probably not handmade, the vegetable tagine was far too salty and dry, and the chicken tagine was tasteless. Overall, the whole stay was a very disappointing experience. Although the staff are nice and friendly, I would never recommend this place to anyone. There are hundreds of riads in Marrakech and any one of them will certainly be a better choice. This place really reminded me of my backpacking experiences from my youth. If that's what you're looking for, fine (although overpriced).

Talk about an oasis! Riad Be was so much fun to escape to. The rooms are well designed, luxurious, and cozy. The small central pools made the Riad feel like a hidden gem for relaxation. The food and the accompanying service was beyond our wildest expectations. I do not know when we will be able to return to Morocco, but we will if only to stay at Riad Be again.

Very stylish riad located in a perfect location. The design of the common areas and the rooms is very beautiful and curated in all the details. The staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. All the guys working there were fantastic. During our 4 nights stay we had cooking class, Hammam and massages. All the activities were very well planned and done. The issues we had were related to lack of hot water during shower, A/C not working properly and frequent noise coming from the rooftop during morning / evening times. Our room (Lebzar) was a bit small but very beautiful.

We spent four magical days at Riad Emberiza Sahari in September 2023 just after the new owners had finished refurbishing this beautiful old home with great style and elegance. The bedrooms are quiet and beautifully appointed and overlook a central courtyard and swimming pool surrounded by old citrus trees. The manager, Youssef was very helpful and seemlessly arranged tours, visits, car booking etc for guests. There is a resident chef who prepares amazing modern Moroccan dinners that should not be missed. The Riad is well located in the old Medina and is easily accessible on foot from the external car park. I highly recommend Riad Emberiza Sahari to anyone travelling to Marrakech. It provides a peaceful and truely beautiful refuge from the hustle and bustle of the Medina.

We had an excellent 2 night stay here, all the staff were truly amazing. The riad overall was great, good decor and style, very nice breakfasts, great location (convenient, quiet, safe), good rooms (nice decor and well equipped etc). The only slight negative was one of the rooms was quite tight for two people with a reasonable amount of luggage and a quite small bathroom (room Melha), the other room we had was a great size, very spacious and good sized bathroom (room Salmia), so definitely worth paying a bit more for the bigger room if you like a bit more space. Overall we’d highly recommend this place.
