Club Med Marrakech la Palmeraie

We were very disappointed about the stay at Club Med Marrakech. The experience was unfortunately so bad that we cancelled the entire trip at short notice. We originally booked for entire week, and left already after 4 days. The hygiene in the restaurant and in the hotel room - that is way below average. I can't understand how Club Med can run hotels like this! The rooms are old and have to be renovated. But that is something we can accept. But cleanliness is a big issue there too. The corners were not cleaned properly - very dusty. Toilet roll holder hangs down broken... etc. In the restaurants - dirty corners everywhere. The splashguard at the cooking stations were oily. In morning, we observed several times, that restaurant staff wiped the leftovers, bread crumbs just of the table to the ground or on the chair. Horrible. When we said we were checking out early, no one cared why we did that. We send after the trip an official complaint to Club Med. I don't expect them to return any sort of the reimbursement for our bad experience. They just wrote us that they need more pics and if we have filed complaints on site. Honestly, the situation over there cannot be improved just by few complaints any more. The hotel need to seriously consider how they should run such a resort - especially for the price what Clud Med is asking. Good Luck.

A family holiday in club med that once again did not disappoint. Whilst this club med is not as pristine as other clubs that we had a chance to visit (some areas are really tired and in need of investment : namely la Rotonde Bar, the toilets by the pool…and cleanliness in external areas around our rooms), the atmosphere lived up to our expectation. Massive efforts from all the GOs to give us an unforgettable experience day and night. We took part in lots of activities and the optimism and professionalism was showed by all. Special mention to Morgane and Amidou that made us discover parts of our bodies that we did not know existed 🤣 You guys rock! The fact that we came everyday is a testament to the way you engage with the GM- inside and outside the fitness room! Thank you Sarah for this wonderful intro to yoga and meditation : came back with a set of tools to enhance breathing and relaxation. Karim at archery : I hit that ball thanks to you ! And special mention to all the trapeze team: Ines, Sala, Isham, Mika, Clara, Caroline for leaving our children with stars in their eyes after having done a successful catch ! Thomas at tennis: no doubt you will be a great GO. Good luck with this new Club Med adventure A fabulous week all round.

We are repeat GMs (Gentils membres) of the Palmeraie. This is still a great place, we love it. The GOs are always upbeat, approachable and helpful. The kids had a great time too. Food is great: good quality, balanced, nicely presented. Activities on offer are good too. Special mentions to Karim (archery) who is absolutely great, Moussa from the Spa, Ahmed and Tarik for looking after our kids: they had a lovely time, Jaqueline and Thomas for tennis. Of course Hugo the chef du village. Finally thank you to Sana and her team for the smiles daily as well as to all the staff at the bars, restaurant, all these waiters so attentive, the chefs, the cooks, let's not forget the baker! This really feels like a big family and we can't wait to plan our next trip.

We had a wonderful week at Club Med Marrakech with our four children. The setting is beautiful - gorgeous gardens and water features, lovely swimming pools, high quality exercise classes and wonderful food. My eldest tried Teen Club for the first time thanks to the enthusiastic Ahmed who made it so fun and memorable for him.
