I checked Ctrip app for months to find a suitable resort for my honeymoon, and luckily I chose SO! It's our first time to visit Maldives, yet the resort staff made everything convenient for us. Before we started the journey, the staff contacted us through email to inform us of the transport details. We were picked up at Velana International Airport by the staff members of SO. The transfer by speedboat had amazing seaviews! We enjoyed the view. It only took 15min to get to the island. On the first night, we were welcomed with delicious dessert, fruits and champagne. Drinking champagne in the spacious water villa really reminded me of romantic movie scenes. We slept well with the peaceful sound of waves. The next morning, and every morning thereafter on the island, we tried different food at The Citronella Club. The waiters are patient and nice, bringing what we needed timely. Not only the private swimming pool in each room is clear, but also the public swimming pool is clean and cozy. I enjoyed swimming there every day, despite the rain. The only pity during our vacation is the bad weather. Being unaware of the local climate, we came in the rainy season. It almost rained every day! One day the wind got so strong and overwhelming that my newly bought drone fell to the ocean. I was so sad that I cried on the beach. Our butler Khim offered help and asked the security members to search for it. Although my device wasn't found, I appreciate your kind favor. That's the best hotel service I have ever had, after years of overseas travels! And on the last day of our journey, there was a storm all day. I told the butler that I was afraid we might feel dizzy if taking a boat in such a terrible weather. She comforted me and asked a staff member to give us seasick pills. The staff sent them immediately and told us how to use. They helped us to pick and deliver the luggages, so we had nothing to worry about. The seasick pills worked and we were comfortable throughout the trip. After taking the speedboat to the airport, a staff picked our luggages and accompanied us all the way to the check-in counter. I never imagined a hotel service could be so detailed! We don't bother checking out the schedule. We just need to relax and enjoy our day! We look forward to coming again when the weather is better. Thanks to SO/ Maldives, I had sweet memories here!

Perfect!!! Butler Ahsan is best. He was so kind and nice. All the staff were kind and the facilities were excellent. I really want to go again next year on vacation. After checking out, I was touched by the kind handling of the airport movement, airport procedures, luggage movement, and farewell greetings.

Lovely new hotel! Very fashionable design and clean. I can see the stingray sometimes nearby my villa. Better to choose ocean room instead of lagoon as it faces male and it’s quiet bright at night

The hotel is super beautiful. The housekeeper Sue is very considerate and smiling. The hotel room I chose has direct access to the sea, and the sea is super clear. In addition, the hotel and the housekeeper were very thoughtful in their arrangements. Knowing that it was my wife and I's wedding anniversary, they arranged a cake and decorations, which was very thoughtful. The hotel offers many activities, such as snorkeling and fashion shows. It’s super fun. I really want to go there again!

Let's talk about the good things first: 1. The overall environment is very good. Although there are a few vegetation and marine life, it does not affect the beauty of the glass sea. No matter what the weather is, you can see different levels of blue. 2. The facilities are very new. Whether it is the room or the public area, they are very clean and tidy, especially the restaurant and the open kitchen. I didn't see a fly when I was eating. 3. You can take a free speedboat to island hopping to Saii, hardrock and crossroads, and you can pay by credit card directly on other islands The bad part is the service. I would like to make a special statement. Here I specifically refer to the hotel's housekeeper. The points are all deducted from the housekeeper (named Ismail). The fishing activity originally scheduled for 2/2, he said that if the number of people could not be gathered, it might be cancelled. As a result, he did not give us feedback when the departure time was approaching that day, so we went to Zone to ask the person in charge there, and were told that there would be no fishing activity on 2/2, but it could be arranged on 2/3. We asked all this information ourselves. What is the use of having a housekeeper? 2/3 Before the trip, we met the butler at the pier, and he joked with us: "No fish, no dinner". We can pay the restaurant to process the fish we caught. Let me explain here that this fishing activity costs $150 per person, and each processed fish costs $25. We have no problem with the price, and we were very lucky to catch a grouper. As a result, when we were preparing to take it back to the hotel for processing, we were told that it was too late to make dinner that day, and it could only be used for lunch or dinner the next day, but we had to leave for the airport early the next morning. The hotel did not mention this information in the introduction of the fishing activity, and as a butler, he never told us about this rule, especially when he knew that we had to leave early the next morning, why didn't he even remind us?! He even joked with us before we went fishing, "If you don't catch any fish, there will be no dinner." As a butler, shouldn't he know these rules? We gave feedback on everything, and he went to "check" Then they told us that they couldn't solve it. Even on the day we left, they sent us an introduction to the next day's activities. Did they care about the guests' itinerary? Of course, the hotel also has good waiters. The crew members who picked us up at the airport were very professional and enthusiastic (the crew member who sent us to the hotel saw dolphins and asked us to go out to see them). There was also a curly-haired waiter in the restaurant who was very thoughtful. I remember that my husband didn't have noodles the day before, so he asked the kitchen to make 2 bowls and send them to us the next day, and then gave us a 50% discount for dinner. I hope the hotel can clarify the rules of some activities. For such an important service staff as the butler, training needs to be strengthened. I also hope that the Ctrip platform will give feedback to the hotel.

The hotel is probably newly renovated, so the overall feeling is good.

After planning a trip to the Maldives with my children and thinking about it for a month, I had a very comfortable stay at Small Maldives, which I chose. The accommodation was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the food was very delicious. The water quality was excellent, and the stingrays and turtles passing in front of the accommodation made the trip even more enjoyable. I think it will be a really great memory

The scenery is very nice and the housekeeper is also very considerate.
