Great hôtel with nice room. The staff is very friendly and welcoming speaking french, spanish and english :)

В целом в номере чисто и ничего лишнего, но номера довольно "уставшие". Нет тапочек/халатов - и хотя для трех-звездочного отеля это норма, тем не менее отсутствие даже мыльницы под кусковое мыло, предоставленное самим отелем - это уже интересно) Кабина душевой протекала, пришлось вытирать полотенцами образовавшиеся лужи. По стыку кабины с керамической плиткой возможно черная плесень, возможно налет черного цвета, но скорее всего плесень. В Португалии наличие плесени это как в России снег зимой - само собой разумеющееся) Зато напор воды в душевой был такой, что хоть гидромассаж себе делай - мне очень понравилось)) Матрас довольно жесткий, те у кого больная спина вряд ли оценят, но массивным товарищам будет очень комфортно, матрас практически не проминается. В номере есть чайник и картонные стаканчики - это большой плюс. Для тех кому интересно - TV ловит практически все возможные каналы. Завтрак типично европейский: йогурты, мюсли, нарезка сыров и ветчины, хлеб. сладкие булочки и выпечка, вареные яйца, фрукты, чай и кофе. Ничего особенного, но голодными точно не останетесь. Стоимость завтрака 18 евро на двоих.

The staff is very attentive, 24 hrs help. The area is close to main streets and many businesses.

We stayed here for one week & having not visited Porto before we hadn’t any idea which area we were in but just a short step from the Metro which we used nearly everyday,excellent link to the airport & much cheaper than a taxi,cost us €2.60 each one way. We thought the hotel was great,staff were very nice & rooms were cleaned thoroughly daily,shower had a bit of black in corners but seen much worse,there was a kettle but our only gripe were the paper cups for your drink which tended to go soggy also no milk supplied so we bought a small carton of longlife milk. One block down is the biggest department store we’ve ever seen,el casa inglis,food court is great,we didn’t eat breakfast in hotel so can’t comment,we used one of the cafes further down the road most days. One of the lovely receptionists directed us to catch a number 903 bus to Afurada the fish area & away from tourist area & very quaint near the marina,well worth a visit if you like fish,they are open for lunch & again in evening,steep hill down & up! as the bus doesn’t go right to the area.

We stayed here for 5 days March 2022. Whole package holiday including flights ( Manchester) transfers B&B was circa £500 in total. Which also included a boat trip on the river and a port wine tasting! Bargain ! Tram stop is a few meters from the door -but we found Uber so cheap it was easier ( lazier ) to get an Uber direct to the attraction. As little as 3 euros most we paid was 8 euros to visit Serralves outside the city ( well worth it - house & grounds fab - art gallery no as impressed). Hotel is very clean, staff very friendly, small bar on reception and lounge on first floor. We often had a g&t on return to the hotel - either in reception or the lounge. ( even our bar bill at the end of the week was only 50 euros / and we like our gin ) The hotel doesn’t do evening meals - but there is a lovely friendly Italian just up the road - they were trying live music on Wednesday night for first time - it was great! All in all - a fab affordable hotel just outside the centre with easy transport links

Great value and staff were welcoming. Billed asa budget hotel but worth much more. I actually quite liked it but it was not high class. Totally adequate for a short city visit and perfectly located. Shower was a bit temperamental. Room was quiet, on front with fantastic views of the city. Tram was right outside the door.

Clean and comfortable hotel. Hotel is near tram with direct line to Douro attractions. Also near El Cortes Ingles dept. store, a very convenient landmark.

The location is perfect next to El Corte Ingles which also has a supermarket in the basement and the metro D line stop is a minute walk away. It has two types of pillows, fridge, small safe and water heater to make some tea or coffee. The bathroom has a hairdryer. On the TV you see many channels and the wifi is free and without passwords or registrations, but it is a bit slow, I preferred to use the data line of my mobile. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and of high quality. Parking is available at a supplement and is about 150 m from the hotel in another building. I recommend leaving your car for the days of your stay and moving around with the Andante 24h card, unless you want to go to the outskirts. On arrival we were given a room on the 9th floor, but the room was not ready yet, then when we arrived in the afternoon we were moved to the 2nd floor, from this floor the noises were very annoying. Streetcar, cars, motorcycles, you can hear everything despite the insulation of the windows. If it had not been for this reason, my rating would be much higher.

Excellent hotel, super clean, great staff and very well located!

For the cost, this is a bargain, It ain’t the Ritz, just a simple hotel South of the river. Right on the metro, Jao de Deus stop is right outside the door, so direct to old city and easy to airport. Rooms large and comfortable. Shower rooms are spacious and fine ( extractor is on a separate switch and sounds like a rocket, so don’t switch on in the middle of the night). Spotlessly clean. Don’t expect a full English. Breakfast is delightful, continental meat & cheeses, fresh fruits & yoghurts, pastries & toast …….much more. The female maitre-de is a bit brusque but spot on, and nothing is too much trouble. Not luxurious but really like this place and an absolute bargain. Only negative is that if your room is on the main road, it can be noisey.
