位置極佳，極其方便！衹是廣場正在修建，出租車無法到門口，衹能停在廣場外面。

When I travel, location is everything. Obviously also clean and safe, but then add a bit of luxury and a lot of authentic and helpful people, this is really a great place! You are 30 seconds around the corner to the plaza and Sol Metro entrance. There are shops, sights and amazing neighborhoods in all directions. Every night as we returned from sightseeing and exploring, we went to the restaurant for a snack and a glass of wine. The food is delicious— try the croquetas caseras. The team there is extra special. They welcome you like you just returned home. Our waiter Jhonny was especially wonderful— so nice, personal, and professional. We stayed only a few days but at this hotel, we felt the people were like family.

The location is good but no car access. We had to drag our luggageto walk several blooks on very busy streets. The building is old and room is uncomfortable.

Room was bland to say the least. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. Location was very good.

This is a basic hotel but clean and there is nothing wrong with it. The location is fantastic and I really liked the cafe downstairs. Good and not expensive and the staff are excellent

This is a conveniently located hotel in the middle of the action. It was quite noisy at night, even though it was off-season and a weeknight. I heard outdoor noise from the plaza until 3 am. The trade off was that it was entertaining to watch people from my balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I loved that I could store my luggage, since I arrived early in the day.

Everything was great but you need to understand that the plaza de sol is busy day and night. We had problems sleeping!

Check in supposed to start frim 2 pm . I arrived at 3 pm and had to wait one hour for my room . I asked for a double room and got a twin room . Not impressed. We are in winter and the air conditioning was on insread of the heating . I turned on the heating and dod not work . I called reception and they sent someone to check the heating . After abother 30 min. The room was colder than when i arrived . I called thek again and after 15 min. They called me back saying they will change the room . Agaon the new room had a twin bed and not a double as i especially specifidd in my original booking . The onmy good thing of my stsy was the view of the centre of Madrid . To finalise i wanee dro take a shower the day of my depparture and the water was completely cold . Not hot aater or even warm water . There were repairs throughout my stay as well. Overall it was a horrible experience and it was not cheap at all . I paid 400 euros for 2 nights. Would not recommend this hotel and for sure will not stay in Hotel Europa again

A fantastic location in puerta del sol, a lovely cafe and friendly service. However there was clearly work going on in the hotel, none of which was explained or apologised for.
