Best place to stay. The luxury they provide for this price tag is excellent. There are lot of restaurants nearby like KFC. Totally a worth stay.

A very nice room for a very fair price. Don’t know the city well at all so can’t speak for location but enjoyed the hotel itself

We stayed 10 days in Golden Eagle in June 2023. The location of this hotel is great. The service is awesome. The front desk reception Michelle and others are friendly and professional. I ran into the general manager in the lobby one day asking where to buy 风油精, she worked with her staff to get me one in a few mins. The breakfast is good with many choices. The gym is fine and my boy likes it. Unfortunately the swimming pool was under repair so he didn’t get a chance to use it. We will surely recommend this hotel to my friends.

The stuff is really awesome! They've been friendly and provided a great service. Thomas has been of great help, he made the communication much more easier. The room was welcoming with adequate and comfortable amenities.

No issue at all with the room. Unfortunately we had an horrible experience with the hotel manager. He lost his temper with our family and start to scream us. I shocked seen an hotel manager, doing soo bad in such a situation. He needs a better training from the company to take this role. I wont book any family lunch there again. Ones is more than enough.

It’s perfect and the best hotel in Maanshan. The staff is extremely friendly and ready to solve any issues you encounter. Especially manager Thomas Gao is absolutely amazing person, I had a little miscommunication but Thomas was there to solve the situation in a second. I would highly recommend anyone to book this hotel, prices are very affordable and you get the best service

When bringing children to Ma'anshan for Qingming Festival, the requirements for finding a hotel to stay in are high. The environment, scenery, location and so on all need to be considered. This hotel is right in the city center, by the Yushan Lake. You can see the lake view when you open the curtains. The children are very excited.

The front desk staff Huahua provided good service, the room was satisfactory, cost-effective, the environment was good, and there was a shopping mall downstairs, which was very convenient. The room service was very timely, and the response to adding bath towels and shower caps was very fast. The sound insulation effect was not bad, and I slept very comfortably. It was a good stay. I will choose Shangmei again next time.

The room is large, the lake view is very open, and the bed is big enough to sleep one big and one small. A small gift was given to the child when checking in. Welcome fruit is provided in the room, and there are also memory pillows to choose from, but the room is a bit dry. The breakfast is remarkable, with a wide variety of options, and the service is also very good. There are many special dishes recommended, and the seafood porridge and noodles are good. I don’t know if the front desk is not on duty at night. There are some situations in the middle of the night. I called the guest service center but no one answered.

I have stayed in five-star hotels in Chengdu, Nanjing, and Wuhan, but this time I had a bad experience at the Golden Eagle Shangmei Hotel in Maanshan. The service was quick and responsive after check-in, the service was good, and the gym had a nice view, but the room facilities were old, the bedding was uncomfortable, and the staff was slow in checking me in. Compared with other hotels of the same grade, it is a world of difference. I hope the hotel can rectify as soon as possible, improve the level of software and hardware, and stop destroying its own reputation. There were blood stains on the sheets this time, and there was no compensation or apology. I will stay in Nanhu next time.
