Very good location for visiting Longmen grottoes! Very friendly staff! My recommendation for visiting Louyang

We are a couple from Germany travelling in China for the first time. An interesting country with particularly friendly people! The location of the hotel is very good. Good beds. The room is spartanly furnished and a bit sparse. Windows not tight but nice and big. No proper reception area, but friendly staff. Quite basic for the price.

Highly recommend this hotel. The day we got there, receptor she walked to pick us up at the gate at night with cold and snowing road. She is very kind. The place is nearest from Longmen grottoes.

The location is excellent if you want to visit the Longmen Grottoes. The hotel is just a few minutes from the Scenic Spot. The staff has been helpful and kind, letting us leave the suitcases in the hall we checked out in the morning. The room was big and clean with all the necessary things. I totally recommend this hotel!

It was nice to stay in the trees so close to the Longmen Grottoes. Cleanliness and housekeeping excellent. All staff friendly to someone who spoke no Mandarin. Whilst no meals were available there were restaurants within seconds of the hotel. Especial thanks to the young lady who carried my bags to and from the taxi and up and down the stairs and enabled me to start using a translation app..

Spacious and modern, great location for Longmen Grottoes

Maybe the boss upgraded the room to a family room because it’s the off-season! Outside the window is the city tower in the photo! The location of the inn is very good, just a few minutes walk from the entrance of Longmen Grottoes!

The room is well-equipped, spacious, clean and tidy. The service facilities are complete. There are many places to eat and play nearby. The transportation is convenient. The boss is also very nice. If you come to Longmen Grottoes, you can consider staying here.

We arrived at night. The boss was very nice. He was afraid that we couldn't find a place so he waited outside in advance. He was also very friendly. The hotel environment was good and the hygiene was also good.

This is the hotel with the worst value for money and the worst sanitary facilities I have ever stayed in. The family room costs over 800 yuan, not to mention the snacks that come with it, which are worth about ten yuan and are said to be special items. The sofa was dirty, with crumbs of snacks and nails dropped by the previous guest on it. The toys for the children were extremely dirty. We were older kids and would not play with them, but they looked very unhygienic. The toys were all black. If there were more children, they would definitely play with them when they saw them. It was really harmful. It would be better not to have them. The quilt felt a little prickly to the touch and the slippers were as thin as paper. What I said is all true, no exaggeration, anyone who has lived there knows! The only advantage is that it is close to the scenic spot.

When I came to this inn, there was a forest in front of the door. I walked under the green grass and came to the forest oxygen bar. It was better than I imagined. There were tables and chairs at the door. It was very comfortable to chat and relax here. The reception was also very enthusiastic. It made people feel very warm when they entered the room. It was also cleaned very neatly. The bathroom was separated into three parts, which was very private. There was also a terrace outside. It was very comfortable to drink tea and chat. It was super quiet to sleep at night. The overall feeling was great!

I didn't take pictures of the inn, but just thinking about sitting at the door for a while and enjoying the cool breeze, it was very comfortable. The room was spacious and clean, and it was very convenient to eat. It was also close to the Longmen Grottoes, so you could just walk there. You could park for free in the underground parking lot. In short, I had a great experience, and the front desk reception was also caring and enthusiastic.

Traveling with friends and kids, I chose Yuelai in Longmen. The duplex room is very suitable. There are twin beds upstairs and a big bed downstairs. There are sofas and coffee tables. The boss gave snacks and tea bags. It's nice to rest with friends. There are many restaurants downstairs. You can have a bowl of spicy soup or wontons for breakfast. The room is spacious and the hygiene is good. However, the window is a bit broken. I wanted to open the window for ventilation, but the screen window could not be closed. I could only close the window, which was a bit stuffy. The partition of the shower room is only half, and the floor next to it will be wet after taking a shower. You have to be very careful when walking. Why doesn't the boss install the whole partition or make a curtain? In short, although there are some minor flaws, the overall living is very good.
