The Club at Solaz Luxury Villas

Solaz exceeds all expectations. It is so beautiful, serene, clean, modern, elegent with the most succulent landscaping. Great restaurants on premises, friendly staff, and you dont have to fight for a pool chair. Daily housekeeping and 24 hour room service.

We really enjoyed our visit. The staff was excellent!, notably: the Club Ambassador Kayla, Pool attendants: Jordan, Jose, Carlos and especially Ricarda (spelling). The check in procedure was very easy and we were very pleased that our request to be assigned to the Gallery was honored. Overall the facility has been maintained very well. The suggestions we have: water glasses in the bathrooms, plastic utensils for the teflon cookware, blankets instead of a heavy comforter. Generally the bed is too soft, most people prefer something a little firmer. The shower in the guest bathroom leaks - the bottom of the door does not keep the water from running out into the rest of the bathroom, becomes very slipper and dangerous.

The staff is very friendly and engaged, paying attention to details that make the stay enjoyable and relaxed. From information to recommendations on restaurants in town, local sites to check out and special events happening during our stay, they helped create lots of good memories.

Excellent room full of amenities and excellent service. Very cosy with a very nice view of the ocean. Very nice balcony with a big table for meals and sofas and comfortable chairs to stay and see the beautiful landscape and the beautiful sun rise from the ocean

We simply love this place, the service is impeccable. Paul, Carlos, Hector, Cesar, Jorge and the entire Solaz staff go above and beyond. The master bed is the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. The weather is very reliable. We enjoyed Pickleball and yoga daily, and the gym is fabulous. Six stars.

This is a great resort that we have been visiting from inception. We purchased while it was under construction. Solaz has a great staff, however I feel like I am being fleeced every time we turn around. It has gotten to be so expensive that it isn’t fun anymore. For example, every restaurant on site is “high end”. There is no casual sports bar type restaurant. They installed an airstream trailer bar/restaurant on the beach so they could offer more casual food options, however it was closed the entire week we were there. I’m getting tired of paying $100 per person for dinner. We bring our own wine when we visit and the corkage charge is $60 per bottle. The cheapest wine on a menu is in excess of $100 per bottle. Cakebread Chardonnay is $300 per bottle. Ridiculous!! There are no benefits for members. The service at the pool is great, but there is no place to have a sit down lunch. Only service is available at the lounge chairs. Sometimes you want to sit down at a table for lunch. The resort really needs to treat their long time members with more perks. A shuttle to Cabo or San Jose would be nice, but I know that is never going to happen! I think that I am finished with Solaz.
