I traveled here on business but brought my wife along for the opportunity that ended up being a tremendous experience at this hotel. This resort is located about 25 to 30 minutes away from the airport at first the hotel looks overwhelming in size but it’s actually pretty easy to get around. The rooms were tremendous, the service is even better. I do not think the staff could do anymore to make us feel welcomed. Every detail in the room was worked out by an expert. The bedding was the nicest I’ve experienced in any hotel.

I think the best way to describe our stay at Solaz is that it is an immersive experience that transcends beyond our imagination. Let me explain. The resort’s unique landscaping, featuring endemic Baja desert flora, and its award-winning architecture seamlessly integrate with the natural surroundings. Every corner of the property is adorned with over 400 works of art by César López-Negrete, celebrating the rich culture and history of the region. The meticulous cleanliness throughout the resort was evident, making our stay even more comfortable and relaxing. Unparalleled Service & Dining Excellence The service at Solaz was impeccable. The Artisan Butler service was my wife’s favourite feature. Our butlers Gabriel and Teresa were available 24/7 to assist us with every need. They were incredibly thoughtful and dedicated to their job. Dining at Solaz is an experience in itself. The diverse culinary options are truly best-in-class, but Cascabel’s breakfast buffet deserves special mention. Each morning, we were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel at home. The rotating menu offered a delightful mix of authentic Mexican dishes and healthy options, ensuring variety every day. The handmade tortillas and fresh local ingredients were a highlight. Our dinner at Al Pairo was unforgettable, especially thanks to Aaron, our waiter, and the talented kitchen staff. They went above and beyond to make my wife’s 36th birthday celebration extraordinary. From the exquisite food to the thoughtful service, it was a night we will always cherish. Luxurious Accommodations Our room was spacious, modern, and designed with comfort in mind. The seamless indoor-outdoor living concept allowed us to enjoy breathtaking views of garden from our private terrace. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the intelligent technology, added to the luxurious experience. Exceptional Concierge Team A special shoutout to Chief Concierge Angelina Garcia and her team for their outstanding hospitality. Angelina helped us plan our trip before arrival and welcomed us warmly with a personalized tour of the property. Throughout our stay, she surprised us with thoughtful gifts that made us feel truly valued. Our family enjoyed our 5 nights stay at Solaz and would most certainly return. The Solaz is a stunning resort that lives up to its luxury status. Our stay was enveloped in sophisticated design, impeccable service and stunning views. We loved the artisanal butler service provided by Felix & Benjamin, who went over and above to arrange a wonderful stay. Our rooms were ready the moment we arrived and the hotel honored us with a Plunge Pool upgrade for our Bonvoy Status. Wife and I were able to sneak out to enjoy a memorable chocolatier experience with Chef Roberto and Chef Valeria making bonbons while our 4yo enjoyed the Kids Club. The restaurants on the property had a great range of offerings and we loved the breathtaking views from their pool bar.

From beginning to end, the service we received was top notch. Upon arrival, lead bellman Omar set the tone. He provided vital information about transportation options, and was always looking out for us. Ubers were easy to use, and the bell staff will drop you off and pick you up from the front entrance. We never waited more than 2 minutes for our Uber rides. All drivers spoke English. Omar also provided detailed information about our ocean view room in the towers. We were very surprised to find a rolling 3-piece wooden door that we slid closed at night to cut down on the road noise. And yes, there *is* road noise in the towers, but the sliding door made quite a difference. (Funny how the haters seem to forget to mention this feature.) After reading in reviews that brunch at Cascabel was $60 pp, we were very pleasantly surprised to find it was really only $38 pp, and a terrific value at that. Gourmet food was prepared to order (tacos, quesadillas, omelettes, etc.) and the french toast was the best we've ever tasted--anywhere. Fresh squeezed juices were abundant, and the chilaquiles were to die for. However, the star of Cascabel was Yolanda. She was amazing!! Her recommendations and highly-personalized service made the trip to Solaz worth every penny. She even presented us with a thoughtful departure gift on our last day. Mako was our go-to place for poolside snacks and drinks. The service was frequent, and the food of excellent quality. The pretzel roll chicken sandwich was delish!! Oh, and ask for your margaritas with a half salt/half tahine rim. Housekeeping was spot on. They really do go the extra mile. Please, leave a daily tip for these hardworking ladies. As mentioned, yes, there is some road noise at this property. Is it a deal breaker? Absolutely not. We travel with earplugs anyway, so it really wasn't a big deal. We asked to have our mini-fridge emptied, and it was worth our while to stock up on beer, Topo Chico, and snacks at the nearby Fresko. In our opinion, this is not a suitable property for kids, children, or teens. It is obvious the resort was created for relaxation and not family activities. Speaking of relaxation, the massage I had by Ana was wonderful. Is the spa cheap? No, but the facilities are state of the art. Having also recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton Zadun, we can say that there is much more value at Solaz. Plus, being in the corridor made getting around really easy. The Solaz Resort was absolutely Amazing! From the 5 star customer service and the attention to every detail during our stay, to the on site amenities and restaurants. From the moment we arrived Raul was extremely attentive. He made our experience unforgettable. He provided offsite recommendations and made sure we had transportation every time we left the resort and most of all his attention to detail was impeccable. We set out to celebrate our 10yr wedding anniversary in Cabo, what we didn't know is that we would create a memory of a lifetime. Raul made sure our stay was special and memorable. If you are considering staying at the Solaz Resort, go for it and don't forget to ask for Raul!
