Here’s a polished version of your review: ⸻ We were really looking forward to our stay at Chileno Bay after hearing great things from friends, but unfortunately, the service so far has been horrendous. Upon arrival, we changed and headed to the pool. There were no visible signs indicating adult-only versus family-friendly areas, so we grabbed a seat while my kids swam with my husband. I sat there for over 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. When I finally went to the bar to ask for a cocktail menu, the bartender said he would bring it to me. Instead, he walked over to our family and rudely informed us that this was an adults-only pool and the kids needed to leave. We had no issue following the rule, but the delivery was completely unnecessary. To top it off, he never even brought me the menu. Later, we tried to get dinner at one of the two on-site restaurants because the kids were hungry. At 5:30 PM, both restaurants were completely empty, yet we were told there were no reservations available until 8:30 PM. For us, that’s an unreasonably late dinner time, especially after a long travel day. First impressions? NOT IMPRESSED. Yes, the property is beautiful, but we’ve stayed at many resorts in Cabo—Las Ventanas, Grand Velas, Nobu, Esperanza, One&Only, and Waldorf Astoria—and this has been, by far, the worst service experience. Hoping things improve, but so far, Chileno Bay has been a major disappointment.
