從約書亞樹到優勝美地，自駕路過此地，確實在中間是一個很好的停留站。對面就是超市，很方便。對面不遠處就是雪山，好像常年有雪。

I have been staying here while on trips to the Eastern Sierra's for many years. There are two types of lodging here, the Motel is more modern, the Historic Hotel was built in the 1920's. Both are well maintained and the staff are great. The pool and Jacuzzi are open 24 hours and the Lobby in the Hotel is large and comfortable. The location is perfect for activities in the Southern Sierra's including hiking fishing,and sightseeing, all at a fraction of the cost of staying in Mammoth. The town of Lone Pine has more local character than Bishop or Mammoth, though both are a short drive away. I stay in the Hotel and it is comfortable and perfect for my activities. I

Dow Villa is a pleasant surprise. We stayed in Lone Pine after a long day in Death Valley. The motel is located in the downtown and is in easy walking distance of local restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. For once the provided shampoos and conditioners were excellent. Beds were comfortable even. I would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Perfect place, very clean and quiet, near restaurants and cafes. There’s also a supermarket a few steps away. Comfortable beds, air conditioning working fine and not noisy. It felt very cozy for our family of 3. Check in was easy and room was ready for us at the time we arrived. Big tv with free channels. And last but not least, a beautiful view of the mountains!

Great little town and this motel was the perfect spot to stay. Comfortable bed. Larger mini fridge. Nice sink area. Walking distance to dinner and breakfast spots as well as the grocery store. Scenery beautiful. Enjoyed our stay here at the Dow Villa.

Lone Pine is one of my favourite places on earth and this wonderful motel is the place to stay and enjoy it. Clean and comfortable rooms with a superb pool and hot tub. Right in the middle of the town. This is a town not to be missed and Dow Villa is THE place to stay

We needed a place to overnight after a backpacking trip and this place was perfect. Clean, modest rooms (cheaper rooms have shared toilets and showers), a great pool and hot tub with mountain views, and friendly, helpful, professional staff. We are quite smell sensitive and happy to report there were no strong smells at all - no smoke, no funk, no strong cleaner. Highly recommended!

Stayed in the "historic" section of the motel as the newer rooms were not available. "historic" in this context means no AC, no ceiling fan, narrow tub/shower, tacky decor, dirty carpet, and badly patched walls. Front desk staff seemed well aware of the motel's shortcomings and was apologetic in advance. Avoid if you can.

Lovely old fashioned western decor. Very comfortable, clean, in the heart of town. Very good service. I highly recommend if you like a place that reflects the culture and history of the place. Lots of old photos of the movies made in the area.
