People who put bad reviews, really? You have what you pay for. It’s very very cheap for London so the room is totally ok for this price. I needed it for some hours sleep before trip from Kings Kross station which is in 7 minutes from hotel Very pleasant stuff Clean and good, but not soundproof

It was quite far from the Eurostar station esp having to drag our luggages along uneven pavements. The hotel is more like a guesthouse and does not come with lifts i.e: you will have to carry your suitcases up flights of steps. Rooms were quite small and basic and the reception informed to always keep the bathroom door closed due to a highly sensitive smoke alarm system that is triggered due to hot showers. Once triggered the penalty is GBP100. Breakfast was basic.

Needed a place to stay over due to the train strikes. House of Toby was available and reasonable. Location to St. Pancras is good. The downside is our front facing room had all the road noise and lots of it. Room was small but adequate. Bed comfy, shower superb, tea and coffee facilities fine. Continental breakfast very good indeed. All staff were friendly, helpful and obliging. Recommend for anyone on a budget.

House is clean, service is good and host is responsive, good experience

웬만하면 가지 마세요. 킹스크로스 주변에 비슷한 가격대로 타협 가능한 더 좋은 호텔 많을 겁니다. (일단 여긴 호텔이라고 부르기 어렵습니다.) 냄새나고 지저분하고 시끄럽고 암울해요. 혹시 정말 꼭 와야겠다면 지하층은 피해서 배정받을 수 있도록 요청하세요. 어차피 어떤 요청도 제대로 안 받아주겠지만요. 참고로 엘리베이터는 없습니다.

The hotel offered good value for money. The single room was small, but adequate. The guy on reception was very pleasant and helpful - so much so that when I went for a beer it was on the house. Didn't need breakfast, but it looked quite good. Would happily return for another stay.

The room is tiny. However that apart everything was really good. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower one of the best I have ever had. The reception staff were just delightful and so helpful. Breakfast was fantastic value for money. I would not hesitate to stay again and recommend to anyone on a budget.

Only a brief stay, but not a good one. Room had a constant buzzing noise, as if water was heating, but it was constant - never stopped.however the most concerning part of the stay was when water was pouring out from the light fixture above the shower. I reported both to front desk, and was told it was an issue with the shower in the room above and was safe to use. There was absolutely no chance I was testing that theory, there was more water coming out the light than had come out the shower itself. Enough that I left a day early. Sent an email to the hotel post stay explaining my dissatisfaction and my reason for leaving - yet to receive any kind of response. Staff were nice but hotel itself is dangerous, avoid.

Perfect comfortable stay, very clean, lovely reception team who were very helpful. Rooms were lovely, shower was amazing. 5-10 min walk to St Pancras Station. Really nice property and would certainly recommend. No lift, we were on top floor (310) long way to carry luggage -we were offered help so should have accepted it.

Arrived late on Sunday & easy check in. My room was small but had everything you would need. It was clean and comfortable. Toiletries provided. Didn't use food or drink facilities. Must have replaced the carpets on the stairs & communal areas because they looked new and not like the one in photos on previous reviews. Location spot on for train & tube. The only negative is a bit of noise from corridors when occupants of neighbouring rooms were entering & leaving. Amazing value for money

This friendly, clean, and cosy little hotel is perfectly placed for the Eurostar travellers. The hospitality, smiles and service are genuinely wonderful in this ex-London Pub hotel. The room was well-appointed, with comfy beds, air conditioning and a lovely bathroom. Good value with a delicious continental breakfast buffet in the pub sized bar. Their guest luggage service is the best in London and available to non-guest for a reasonable daily fee through the usual apps. Thank you to Moli and his team for such a lovely stay.

Came for my daughter’s graduation and had a lovely stay. Amazing service, Staff very friendly and go above and beyond. Comfy beds and nice breakfast. Great price, and very close to train station. Will definitely stay again. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Good points: Good price for the location. Great location, 5 minute walk from King’s Cross station. Lovely friendly staff, the room was ready really early so we were able to check in rather than just drop cases off as we’d expected. Very clean room, firm bed, powerful shower. Hair dryer provided next to well lit, full length mirror. Lots of plug sockets. Safe provided. Air con. Not so good points: The carpet was uneven / loose which could’ve been a trip hazard. Smoke alarm went off in room and corridor outside when I was drying my hair which panicked me, nobody came to check it out but it stopped after flapping a towel at it. My only real gripe was that we were on the ground floor and hotel staff used a power washer right outside our window for a couple of hours from around 8am, waking us up despite wearing earplugs. I’m sure this isn’t a regular occurrence though and would definitely stay here again.
