Ulasan Shakespeare Hotel

Kamarnya kecil, sangat dekat dengan stasiun kereta bawah tanah, dan harganya mahal

Hotel tua tapi bersih dan lokasi bagus. Sarapannya enak dan stafnya ramah. Namun tangganya banyak dan tidak ada lift, jadi susah kalau bawa koper berat.

Lokasi sangat bagus, sangat dekat dengan stasiun Paddington dan sangat nyaman, penyimpanan bagasi gratis. Insulasi suara kamar rata-rata, seperti di sebagian besar hotel Inggris, Anda dapat mendengar suara kamar sebelah. Sarapan gratis hingga pukul 9:30, sarapan tradisional Inggris, tidak kaya tetapi dapat diterima. Tidak ada pemanas ruangan, namun di awal bulan November masih terbangun di tengah malam saat tidur di bawah selimut Harus dikatakan bahwa dinding hotel cukup tebal dan tidak terlalu dingin. 😅

The hotel is not suitable for the elderly or for guests traveling with a lot of luggage. During our stay, we were assigned a room on the third floor, which can be quite challenging to navigate, especially since there is no elevator and the stairs tend to be very crowded. On a positive note, the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Paddington Railway Station. However, if you plan to drive, renting this hotel might not be necessary. We also noticed that the furnishings and amenities inside the hotel are quite old, which could be a drawback for some visitors.

The room was just the right size for two people to use and was just round the corner from paddington railway station. so was easy to get around London will.be looking at useing this hotel again

We loved our stay here. The room is fairly small but it is average size for this area. The position was amazing, so close to Paddington station, restaurants, Hyde Park etc. It does not have an elevator so be prepared to climb stairs. The continental breakfast is quite basic, but enough for us. They also have a billard table and other activities for guests to do. The beds were not big but very comfortable. The heating was just right. Overall we loved our stay here.

Ridiculously convenient for Paddington Station, which makes it a great place to stop midway between the airport and the Liz Line home for me for a couple of days in London. The four-floor schlep up the stairs with my luggage is never fun, and nor is the revelation that the water is not drinkable, and if I want to avail myself of the coffee making facilities, I have to go four floors down again to go to the shops, but I've stayed several times at the Shakespeare and will do so again just for the wonderful location.

Stayed 1 night for the early flight on the next day. Vintage decoration, good photo spot. Friendly staff. Walking 5min to Padditon station.

Great location, just around the corner from Paddington train station. Can hear the trains going under the building, but expect to get that anywhere so close to the station. Room was clean and had all the basic necessities. Shower temperature was temperamental but manageable - it was either extremely hot or cool, hard to get anything in between. Stayed for one night just as a stop over and would do so again for the same reason, if you’re just looking for somewhere to rest your head for the night that’s basic and well located then this hotel will provide that. Check-in was quick and easy. Walls were a little thin, so could hear footsteps / doors opening and closing of other guests easily, but only noticed the room next to me and no where else, maybe due to where the room was located. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that.

The hotel is located 4 minutes walking distance from Paddington station. You are very short walk away from supermarkets, coffee shop, bus stops, underground stations etc..  It’s a super good location. The receptionist are friendly, but not customer oriented. The hotel is perfect for short stay. The rooms are very small. The only downside of this hotel is you can hear inside of your room when trains leaving (you feel a bit shake on the ground and bit of sounds) if you are light sleeper, probably is not the best choice. The heater wasn’t working in the room, the temperature was 6 Celsius during the night, and 9 Celsius in the morning . The  hotel does not provide heater, or would turn it on (why would right?) no negotiation possible as the owner refuse everything, even when they really should not. I had to ask the receptionist own heater as my fingers already started turning blue. I have really feeling when comes to this hotel, but location is great and safe stay.

Members very gently, the room was clean and everything was perfect for us. We enjoy our time at the hotel.

The lady at receptionist look like japanese very unfriendly... Make me n my family feel very not comfort to stay there... Will never book this hotel again... Sorry..

Okay stay but was changed to another hotel next door unknowingly

I enjoyed my stay very much. The room was nice, well lit and clean. Great location and all staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again
