Incredible value for money. Brilliant location - can walk to both kings cross and south to the British Museum etc. Really lovely reception staff who were so helpful. I booked a single room and it was nice and cool (in boiling London), clean, and looked out onto a little courtyard. Space to hang clothes and everything. Bathroom was clean too although had the slightest damp smell but honestly for the price I cannot fault it! Would 100% book again. Nb: remember to bring shower gel if you need!

The guy on reception was very pleasant. The price was good, got this on a late availability so cannot complain about the price. However, if I had been paying full price I would not have been very happy.
I checked in and went to the single room I had booked, the room had not been serviced from the last occupant, bed unmade, not changed, room not cleaned etc. I went back to reception, the guy on reception had a look at the room and said housekeeping must have forgot to clean the room. I was then given a double ensuite room. The room I was given, Room 2, was down on the lower floor/basement, the bed was awful, I could feel the springs in the mattress. Shower was hot but it was a curtain affair which meant that the floor of the ensuite got very wet when I showered. I think there was an electrical problem with the hairdryer, it was ineffective and kept cutting out. On the plus side, the floor in the bedroom was wood and was clean.

No water to drinks, no duvets to sleep no ventilation in room.
Receptionist is terrible with his expressions and he is rude.

Very convenient location, less than 5 mins walk to the Kings cross station. Need to improve the sound insulation as it can hear people walking upstairs throughout the night. Very friendly staff.
