Dear Raffles Management Team, I am writing to provide feedback on my recent stay at Raffles Hotel London, and I hope it will be taken as constructive input from a loyal guest of the Raffles brand. As someone who has thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore on multiple occasions, I had high expectations for your London property, but sadly, my experience fell well below the standard I’ve come to expect. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find no one available to assist me with my luggage. As I checked in around [insert time], I had to carry my own suitcase from the street up the stairs to the front desk. For a hotel that prides itself on luxury service, this was unexpected and disappointing. Though the check-in process was pleasant and efficient, the bar was already closed by 11 PM. After a long journey, I had hoped to enjoy a relaxing drink but found this amenity unavailable. I suggest extending bar hours, especially for guests arriving late, as this would enhance the overall guest experience. Once I reached my room, I found it to be quite cramped, with the bed stretching nearly wall-to-wall. While the bed itself was comfortable, and the linen was superb, the room’s layout felt more akin to a budget hotel than a luxury property. More attention to room design and space would greatly improve the comfort level. Later that night, I attempted to order room service but found the night menu limited to fish and chips, with no vegan or appealing alternatives. Given that Raffles is known for catering to a diverse range of guests, it would be beneficial to offer more vegan and vegetarian options. I raised these concerns with the night manager, but unfortunately, I did not feel that my feedback was taken seriously. His response, while polite, offered no solutions. A more proactive approach from management during guest stays would help mitigate dissatisfaction. Ultimately, the claustrophobia of the room and lack of service got the best of me, and I made the decision to move to The Peninsula at 5:30 AM, where the experience was notably different. I regret that I was unable to enjoy my stay at Raffles Hotel London as I had anticipated. I want to make it clear that I am not looking to bad-mouth the hotel. I love the Raffles brand, which is why I chose to email the hotel directly with my concerns instead of posting my experience online. I was hoping to receive a response acknowledging my feedback and perhaps saying something like, “We appreciate your input and will work to address the issues to win back your business.” However, to my surprise, I have yet to receive any response at all. What is even more frustrating is that I’ve noticed every negative review posted online receives a management response, usually along the lines of, “Please contact us to discuss further.” Yet in my case, despite my direct approach, it seems the London property has chosen not to respond. It gives the impression that the hotel isn’t truly committed to address

We've been hotel-hopping in London for decades, but we finally found the hotel that delivers on all levels: flawless service, beautifully-decorated hotel with a rich history, great architecture, and the storytelling to go with it, excellent food, great problem-solving reactivity..... The frequent presence of the director on the ground is a testament to the culture of perfectionism which is what makes the guest experience near perfect. Bravo to all the staff!

Raffles OWO is beyond compare: from location, giving easy access to almost anything in the city you need, to the incredibly gorgeous historic building, to impeccable service and the kindest staff, and not to forget—the food is also fantastic. We were spoiled from check in to check out. When you receive a pillow request form before you arrive, you know they know what they’re doing! Can’t recommend it more highly.

Raffles London at The OWO is unlike any other property I have been to. From the stunning architecture and historical significance to the grand interiors and spacious suites, everything and everyone exceeds all expectations. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the amenities on the property provide you with every experience and cuisine you could be looking for. I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel and I highly recommend Raffles to anyone looking for a luxury stay in the heart of London.

Everything and everyone was just great from entry to exit. The building is beautiful and opulent. Service is top notch. We stayed in the presidential suite which is gorgeous with a private butler. Rooftop restaurant and bar is a cool place with beautiful views of London.

We dined at Saison and I found it underwhelming. The food was nicely presented but was extremely overpriced for quite average of an experience. By contrast, I've paid the same amount to eat at other five star hotels in the city and have been blown away. We left just saying, "hmm that was alright. Nothing special." I think it's also a combination of not being treated like a valued guest. When you visit, it's cold. You go through security detectors, and you're seated and not well attended to. There's service but not service with a smile. Not service that stands out and makes you feel this is the best place in town. We came hoping our first Raffles visit would be UNFORGETTABLE. But it was quite the opposite. All I have to show for it is an average photo, and an average review, for that price, I give it a 1.

First day. Arrived from New York after a birthday celebration. Check in was fab, staff are amazing building spectacular. Unfortunately, builders work kept us awake This stopped after an hour; following my call to reception. Hotel did compensate with a bottle of vino. Lift locked out on the 5th floor, after 15 minutes decided to walk to 4 floor walk to bedroom

My wife had bought me afternoon tea in the OWO Drawing Room as a birthday present.............firstly the good points - beautiful lovingly refurbished hotel rooms with (mostly) attentive service, great atmosphere and lovely cakes. On the negative side, we thought the sandwich offerings were a little bland and tastless and the scones were way overbaked; charging £25 service charge we also though was pretty excessive.

An amazing experience, we went for the weekend and everything was perfect, the room, the restaurants, the staff, the location! This will be my favorite hotel in London from now on! They had special gifts for my kid, the room service was quick and very good!

I have finally returned home, and I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey and experience your hotel staff provided for us. "Absolutely wow" From the moment we first arrived at your hotel, greeted by the door and lobby staff, to our check-in at reception, and being shown to our room, it was, without a doubt, one of the best experiences we've ever had in a hotel.
