Rosamar Maritim

Stayed for 5 nights July-August, rooms are clean and comfyn i asked for separate beds as I was travelling with my 14 year old son, this was accommodated with no problem. The rooftop pool and terrace is great, despite being peak season, there was always available loungers, the terrace bar was cheap and served nice food, the lady at the bar was friendly and ALWAYS happy to serve you. The pool is nice and shallow (0.9m), good to swim or just relax with a dip. Food was nice and always able to get a table with no problem, the theme changed each night, some bits stayed the same which is also nice. The spinach cannelloni was really yummy and my son loved the fish options. Free WiFi which never failed. Good shower pressure. Have stayed in 2 Rosamar hotels now, will definitely recommend both (Rosamar Es Blau in 2019).

We have recently come back from a 6 night stay at Hotel Rosamar. We opted for bed and breakfast as wanted to explore Lloret de Mar and all its wonderful restaurants. The breakfast was really good, sausages, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, toast, croissants, pastries and cakes. A good cereal selection. Plus you have the wonderful view of the promenade. I booked a room with a sea view balcony, which is a must and well worth the extra £100. Room was clean and modern, bed was super comfortable and our room / studio was cleaned and re stocked every day. The rooftop pool was a bonus and we never had a problem getting a sun lounger. My only input would be that the bar upstairs on the roof top shuts when its raining, but we just had an unlucky week with the weather. And perhaps Sky tv or at least a few English channels would be nice. The staff were all really polite and helpful and I would definitely stay here again.

After a two and a half hour coach transfer from Barcelona we checked in and went to our room. It was the smallest room we have ever stayed in and most poorly equiped. There was no drinking glasses only 2 paper cups, no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities, the usual tiny fridge under a desk made of fibre board with one of the doors hanging off a broken hinge. The bed was 2 singles pushed together and my sheet had a very noticeable iron singe mark on it, (not changed until day 5). The balcony (6ft x 4ft,) overlooked a back alley which was quite noisy up to the late/early hours. The wardrobe was under 3 ft wide and space for hanging clothes and storage was very limited so basically lived out of the suitcase for the week. The cleaning staff did a decent job ( in under 5 mins) but considering the size of the room this was not a Herculean task. The room decor was quite dated and the bathroom could do with an update replacing cracked tiles etc. The breakfast was the average Spanish fare with lengthy queues for food and the drinks machines and we ate out at night as ( thank goodness) we were bed and breakfast only. The usual evening food choices on offer were samey every night and mostly catering for the European guests. The TV in the room did not have any english channels again catering for the Europeans. I know you dont go on holiday to watch TV but its good to view the news while having a cup of tea ( we bought a kettle) in the morning while getting ready for breakfast. The hotel itself was just across the road from the beach and alongside many shops and restaurants. The streets were clean and well maintained and the resort on the whole was not busy/overcrowded as once was in the 80s/90s. We were not sad to leave the Rosamar Maritim and the thought of the two and a half hour coach trip didnt seem as bad as first envisaged as we were going home. Would we return to the Rosamar Maritim, definitely NOT.

thoroughly disappointing experience. From the moment I checked in, it was clear that the staff lacked basic customer service skills. The save in the room was blocked by the previous guest, I asked to repair it, they didn’t send anyone. They didn’t put shampoos, there were no glasses in the rooms. The bathroom was old. It was lost of money.

Amazing hotel, really clean and staff could not be more helpful. Views from the pool are incredible and it’s in a great location for walks, food and definitely the beach! Will 100% go there again. Great holiday!

Hotel very clean, Staff very helpful, Arrived with my daughter, had a double bed, asked if we could change to twin beds, they obliged straight away without any fuss. Marivi who worked in the pool area was absolutely lovely, she would go out of her way to help you, always happy. Beach, shops and restaurants close by. Breakfast was very good, Dinners could have had more choices, not the best food especially for a four star hotel. Have a lovely holiday.

The rooms are in need of some tlc and are on the small side but the hotel was in a fab location with lovely sea views. The staff were amazing, especially Pati on reception. She was so helpful and friendly. We needed a room change and she sorted this out for us straightaway as well as helping us to book buses and other activities, all done with a smile

This place is amazing. The staff are wonderful. We were booked into a double room but we needed a crib so they quickly found us a bigger room to fit a crib in and within 10 mins of booking in, the crib was there in the room ready. I couldn’t thank the staff enough for how easy they made our holiday. No stress at all. We booked our excursions through the reception and they called and booked the whole things for collection straight outside the hotel. I had a 4 month old baby and they could not get enough of her, they made her laugh everyday the reception staff and the wonderful lady on the rooftop terrace. Although the pool is small, the views are amazing and there is no fighting for sunbeds when we went. We got a beautiful spot every day and went in and out of the pool. The pool also has a place to sit and jets. There’s a sauna and steam room too which we didn’t use because we were already hot. The lady on the terrace brought whatever food and drink over that you ordered and they are all so happy to chat to you. Also the breakfast is amazing. All you can eat. Full English, cereal, yogurt, pastries, cakes, pancakes, churros and a man who will cook you omelettes of your choice and fresh scrambled and fried eggs. Also they had cava on hand for breakfast so we had a Buck’s Fizz for a birthday treat amongst the price already. The rooms are great, we didn’t have see view but we didn’t feel like that affected our holiday at all. The rooms were always cleaned, beds made and fresh towels, we never had to chase anything up. Also the aircon is great. I would definitely return!! It is right in front of th beach and the bars

Firstly this hotel is never 4 * it's more like 2* it's very dated but also very clean . Location is good but your not right on the sea front a very busy road is in front of hotel of which cars and load music seem to love till early hours also the carpark is a meeting point for the lads and music from cars till very early hours . Breakfast good lots of choice and very busy . Loret de mar is very busy and never seen so many single sex groups . Shop staff are very pushy for you too buy and restaurants are not over welcoming to British .
