Ulasan Alvalade II Airport Guest House

I had a terrible and unsettling experience with Sofia, the property owner, in Lisbon. Upon check-in, I found the advertised Wi-Fi wasn’t working. Sofia assured me it would be fixed in a few hours, but after a full day, I was told the issue wouldn’t be resolved and was asked to leave. Neighbors later revealed the Wi-Fi had been down for days, and Sofia was aware but failed to inform me. Things escalated dangerously. Sofia called, shouting and demanding my immigration details to report me. She sent multiple people to bang on my door, pressuring me to leave. I felt unsafe and threatened. I left within 15 minutes under immense stress and haven’t received the promised refund. This experience was unprofessional and dangerous. I’ll be filing a complaint with Portuguese authorities. I strongly advise against staying here. No guest should be treated this way.

I thought the self check in was easier because I got the access details on phone. However it was not that easy. I opened the front door of the building only to find dark stairs. The lights didn't work. Was able to find the keys. The door to the apartment didn't open easily. The stairs were pitch dark in the night, the owner never repaired the lights during my stay. The room was in the kitchen. It is a servant room in the apartment. It is too tiny. The curtains had lots of dust on them. This is the European standard? Yes the bed was very clean.

We booked a night at the guesthouse fairly last minute as it was near the airport & we had an early morning flight. It's more expensive than an apartment we have in central Lisbon so feels overpriced. You have to make arrangements to meet with the staff who have a base a few doors down from where the block is and they were very responsive to messages before hand which was helpful. The apartment block is a short walk from Alvalade station on the green metro line and there are a number of restaurants and cafes so it's convenient. Also feels like a nice, chilled area. Apartment is OK, the room we got was en suite but the common room & kitchen is shared with the other people in the apartment. There is a balcony overlooking a car park & when we had some issues with the shutters, the staff provided a temp solution for us. Toiletries, towels and hair dryers were provided which was useful. The room looked a little worse for wear with stains on walls but the bathroom looked new. The drainage didn't work very well so the shower water seemed on the verge of overflowing at times. The rain shower didn't work. There are no lifts in the building and the apartment is on the third floor, so not the best option for those with mobility issues or very heavy suitcases. Of course it's also on the flight route so the noise of planes flying overhead are common. This didn't stop us from having a good few hours' sleep before the airport though. We were able to walk to the airport on pavemented roads in less than 30 mins which was helpful as public transport would have been non-existent at those hours. When we did a recce of the route the day before, we passed a really nice park en route. Overall, the apartment was a convenient stop for us before an early start to the airport. However, if you are not too keen on stairs or sharing common spaces with others, it's best avoided.

Foi uma noite terrível depois de 10 horas de avião. Se ouvia os ruídos de todos dos hóspedes, conversa cozinha, WC , despertadores etc. A toda hora havia barulho, correntes de ar. Não tinha as mínimas condições de um quarto. Só a casa de banho é que era razoável. Nós recomendo a ninguém

Posizione comoda per chi vuole alloggiare nei pressi dell'aereoporto. Comunicazione col personale piuttosto difficoltosa. 3 piani senza ascensore. Cucina comune ben attrezzata. Stanza di piccole dimensioni ma pulita.
