The Dower House Apartments

My partner and I stayed here for a couple of nights over the weekend and we were certainly not disappointed! Neil and his partner are extremely friendly and helpful hosts. We stayed in apartment 4, which had been beautifully decorated and dressed recently, with every detail being tastefully considered. The hosts have thought of everything one could need and included some very thoughtful extras like croissants, milk, coffee pods and cake. The whole building and grounds are stunning and set in a quiet location just outside Lincoln. My partner and I walked into central Lincoln from the accommodation in just over twenty minutes, but there are also regular buses and Uber taxis available. This is a great location for exploring Lincoln and we would definitely visit again. Thank you!! :)

The place was lovely, spacious, clean and beautifully furnished and decorated to a high standard. We very much enjoyed our stay there and would not hesitate to re book and recommend. Communication with the host was excellent and he was very pleasant and helpful.

We visit Lincoln a couple of times a year and have always struggled to find a decent place to stay. Well we have found it and this is more than decent! This is 5 star! The apartment was so beautifully designed and everything was top quality. It was immaculately clean and all the extra touches were so appreciated. The bed and bedding were just so comfortable, so much so I admit we looked the label of the sheets to see where we could buy them! It was also so quiet and peaceful, we slept so well. Neil was a lovely guy and communicated impeccably before hand and during our stay, even to the extend of telling us about the history of the place and showing us round the building and some of the other apartments which were all equally fantastic. He left extra touches of flowers, tea, coffee, milk, croissants with butter and a selections of jams and crisps. All very much appreciated. If you are visiting Lincoln I would 100% recommend these apartments. We will be back for sure and look forward to it x

This was our second visit to the Dower House Apartments. Everything was spot on from the moment I booked direct with the owner Neil. The accommodation was reassuring great as it was on our first visit. We appreciated the extra touches of fresh flowers, croissants and cake. Ideally located to visit Lincoln and tour around. Peaceful location with stunning views of Lincoln and the gardens. We would highly recommend The Dower House Apartments.

Stayed 2 nights in apartment 3 whilst helping son and family relocated from abroad to Waddington nearby. This apartment was within a beautifully restored old house with delightful gardens and dedicated parking. Our apartment had a view of the Cathedral from the lounge window. The apartment was very spacious and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Neil has thought of everything for guests, from a supply of tea,coffee, milk, croissants, preserves and cake. The kitchen was well equipped if you did want to cook. The quality of everything provided was summed up by GHD hair straighteners and hairdryer in the bedroom. Overall a wonderful place to stay if you want to be close to Lincoln but enjoy peace, quiet and luxury.

We’ve just got back from our 3rd visit to the lovely Dower house apartments. The apartments are beautifully furnished, well equipped, spacious and very comfortable, it’s a pleasure to stay here. We’ll be visiting again in the future and look forward to meeting hosts again.
