The room was very clean and the service was really good. The upgraded superior twin room had a lot of space and the minimum amount of mineral water was 4 bottles, which was very friendly to us. If it was not enough, we could ask the front desk for more. They were very enthusiastic. I could feel that every waiter here was really happy to go to work. They served every guest from the bottom of their hearts and put the needs of the guests first. Such employees can really infect the people around them. It was also a pleasant farewell when leaving the hotel. They sent you to the door and told you to drive slowly. They gave you a bottle of water when leaving the hotel and reminded you to drink more water. You should apply sunscreen in Yunnan because of the strong ultraviolet rays. The weather is changeable, so you should bring an umbrella. It was touching and warm.

I bought a future booking package for 2 days and used it around New Years. The hotel was great. You can see sunrise from the rooftop garden! The check in was a little bit chaotic. Normally, I don’t book breakfast with the room as we love trying local breakfast options. However, if it’s included, the kids usually get milk or yogurt which are difficult to keep fresh without a frig. I would have appreciated the staff of reminding me of breakfast options, which didn’t come up during check-in. For a 4-star hotel, I would have expected better. There was a parting snack set for 2 (we are a family of 4), which somewhat made up my disappointment. But we had 4 people, which again, points to lack of consideration. We probably would stay here again.

This hotel is located very close to the Airport express bus station. Just turn left after exiting the main entrance, and cross a traffic junction. The blue signage will lead you towards the bus station. The ride to the airport is about 75 min. Need to use the Ctrip app to book the bus ticket that cost 20yuan. The bus departs every 30 min. The room is well equipped and quiet. Decent Chinese breakfast. Only bread and butter for western palate. The hotel has a laundry room and self serving luggage storage locker. Clean and pleasant stay. There are many local buses that go to the old town. Just take note of the last bus timing. I took a local bus from the high speed train station to the hotel, a 30 min journey. Will recommend to travellers who are catching a flight the next day or wish to escape the hustle and bustle of the old town.
