Hotel Lhasa Chengguan District

It was my first time in Lhasa. I chose the local chain hotel Pingcuo Kangsang. I originally booked only one night. When I checked in, the lady at the front desk not only upgraded our room type (view room), but also took the initiative to help us bring our suitcases to the room, and gave us a lot of free services. The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities. I decided to stay there, and the subsequent cleaning was also very timely. The hotel is in a moderate location, between the Potala Palace and the Jokhang Temple. I am very satisfied with this stay! The restaurant on the sixth floor of the hotel recommends breakfast, because you can see the beautiful scenery of the sunrise shining on the Potala Palace!

The first hotel I stayed in Lhasa after entering Tibet. I had booked and changed the booking before, and finally chose this one. As soon as I arrived at the hotel entrance, the security guard quickly came to take my luggage. Because I had severe altitude sickness when I arrived in Lhasa by train that afternoon, I went to the hospital for oxygen before going to the hotel, so someone helped me with my luggage. I am very grateful. The hotel’s housekeeper Xiao Pu also helped me with my luggage and delivered it to the room. He was very patient and detailed about the hotel’s free laundry service, oxygen supply, etc. The hotel is very clean and provides disposable bath towels, disposable towels, toilet covers, etc. every day. The clean clothes are returned the next day. After the room is cleaned, the supplies will be replenished in time. There is a humidifier in the room. The room is also quite large and quiet. A piece of fruit is provided every day. It is very considerate. If I have the opportunity to come again, I will choose this hotel again

This hotel is located right next to the entrance of Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple, close to shopping and transportation to other places in Lhasa, so the location is perfect. The service is the most impressive, my hotel room was facing the street and there was a loud speaker shouting all day and all night, I had to complaint to the hotel staff even though the speaker was not part of the hotel. They immediately negotiated with the the relevant people, and offered to switch my room to face away from the street. Also the hotel staff helped me to reserve the critical sites and train. I cannnot be more thankful for their help. The room was big and they cleaned every day, they did a good job cleaning the room. The onsite laundry facility was helpful too since I cannot affort to pay for laundry service. All in all, I am very happy with the stay, and will return again if I come back to Lhasa.

A shop in the center of Lhasa, 10 minutes away from the Potala Palace, there are many shops along the way. I chose this shop because it is close to the tourist attractions. I contacted the customer service before to request a quiet room on a higher floor. As a result, I was arranged on the 2nd floor when I checked in, and later moved to the 3rd floor. They said that all the high floors were full. The sound insulation was very poor. I could hear running and talking in the early morning. The shower head was blocked. I informed the front desk and they changed it, but it was still a little blocked. The variety and quality of breakfast cannot be compared with Atour in other cities, but there are late-night porridge snacks, which is a touch of warmth in the cold night. In short, the staff service is online, the hardware is insufficient, the facilities are outdated, the price is not expensive, and it is also cost-effective for high-altitude areas!

Jicai International Hotel (Lhasa Potala Palace Branch) was booked a month in advance. It is a comfortable hotel located in Lhasa. The hotel was selected because of its geographical location and special services. Lhasa Station is about 20 minutes away from the hotel by car. The Potala Palace and Potala Square can be reached on foot (about 10-15 minutes). The transportation is very convenient. The hotel facilities and services are very good, and oxygen equipment is also provided to help guests relieve altitude sickness. On the night of check-in, a snack, a fruit, a good night milk, a rhodiola drink, and a ******* costume photo were given as gifts. The overall cost performance is super high.
