Despite the ongoing renovation, the Holiday Express Leland was fully operational. Louise and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make sure we were not inconvenienced in any way. Breakfast was varied, fresh and plentiful, and our room was clean, updated and comfortable. We’ll be back!

Our room could’ve been clean a little bit more. The remote was under the AC and no one knew that, also tea and coffee stains were on and around the microwave and I didn’t see that until last day when checking out. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The room was up-to-date and spacious.

Too many broken items ice machine, no water at breakfast, card keys had to constantly reprogrammed, hallway walls and floors had spill marks all over, and the place was just filthy.

Nice location in relationship to the beach. Room did not have a pull out bed as advertised on *******, and hotel described third party companies as providing "false" advertisement. This reconciliation would help in planning and selection.

We booked a room with 2 queen beds and a pull-out sofa. When we got to check in there was a sign that said they no longer offer the pull-out sofa and offered us blankets to make a pallet for someone to sleep ON THE FLOOR! I asked for a discount on the room and they refused and stated that it was the fault of ********** for not updating their website. There was no security lock on the door inside of the room. The indoor pool that my 5 year old was looking forward to swim in had cold water. There was no seating in the room other than an office chair. There was certainly room for a sofa of some kind in the room (they had a coffee table pushed against the wall). Overall we were very dissatisfied with this experience with Holiday Inn.
