Che meraviglia! What a wonderful stay! We are still dreaming. Palazzo Guido is a real hidden gem. This place has a soul and is incredibly charming. As soon as you walk through the door of the Palazzo, you enter a unique atmosphere and you feel at home. With a 5* service, the staff will take care of you like if you were a countess who has lived here forever. The place is confidential and calm, which is very relaxing. Start your day with a delicious breakfast served on porcelain and silverware, and finish it with a tasty cocktail on the Palazzo rooftop with an incredible view on the Church. A huge thanks to the owner Geltrude and to Christina & Antonio for making us feel special.

A delightful palace located in the perfect spot to walk around Lecce. The Palazzo is modern with a european flare. We stayed in a well appointed triple room with comfortable beds and a modern shower. High ceilings, beautiful decor and iconic objects. Amazing breakfast buffet filled with lots of goodies and wonderful rooftop views for your Welcome Drink. Geltrude and Antonio also are fabulous hosts!

Palazzo Guido is the most beautiful hotel in Lecce. The decor and architecture is so unique and nothing like I’ve seen before. We were lucky enough to have a full tour by the owner and also enjoyed the use of the spa while we were there too. Drinks on the rooftop, and wonderful local recommendations from Geltrude. We were totally looked after. The perfect way to spend our honeymoon. We will definitely return!

Last month we spent 6 magical nights in the extraordinary Palazzo Guido. We have stayed in many, many fabulous hotels but nothing comes close to Palazzo Guido. The building itself is incredibly special from an architectural point of view and rooms have been decorated elegantly and with every possible need anticipated. Owner Geltrude and her colleague Antonio treated us like their personal house guests and could not have done more to look after us, giving advice and making arrangements as needed. Christina was very attentive serving our delicious breakfast. The bar facilities were generous; Antonio makes the best G&T my husband (a G&T devotee) has ever had. The hotel is perfectly located. You could not want one thing more from a hotel. Palazzo Guido is a very special place and experience.

This was our first trip to Lecce. Our stay at Palazzo Guido greatly added to what was an amazing three days. The location of the palazzo is ideal for walking tourists who want to explore the old town. The rooftop is a great place for an evening drink. Our room (called Studio Suite... they are all slightly different) was terrific. But the key attractions are the building itself and Geltrude the Palazzo's owner. It is not often that one gets to stay in a grand home from the 1600s that has been lovingly restored but in no way homogenised. And Geltrude was the perfect hostess, guide, educator and organiser. Finally, an added bonus was a terrific library / reading room. If the beautiful set of Poetry books goes missing, it wasn't me.

We received a personalised service from Geltrude, the owner. The Palazzo has been in her family for generations. Filled with beautiful treasures and hidden terraces. Her team are generous from the varied breakfasts to Willy Wonka sweet table. Geltrude is also a brilliant tour guide, providing advise everyday on where to go and what to do in Puglia. A wonderful place from which to tour the region

This place is great. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment for six nights and had a wonderful time. Geltrude, the owner, is charming, and she and her staff are very responsive and helpful. The historic residence has lots of character, and it’s been reconfigured as a boutique hotel in a way that provides both for comfortable, private rooms and stylish public spaces. The breakfasts are abundant, and the rooftop terrace is expansive. You can’t go wrong with Palazzo Guido!
