An Amazing Palazzo situated inside the ZTL. We loved the architecture and staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked two suites for our family of four but were put on two different floors. One suite on 2nd floor is as beautiful as shown in the picture. Another suite is located on the top floor which feels like a maid room in the old days. It was ok but because it’s on the top floor the temperature in the room was higher despite the Air conditioning. Nonetheless we enjoyed the stay. There are also many restaurants, souvenir shops, cafes and gelateria right outside and along the streets where is hotel is located. Nice vibes but not noisy. Dinner at their restaurant (La Bocca) was alright . Beautiful pasta but second course dishes were average. and there were many mosquitoes around the area of our table and we all got bitten badly.

A realy nice hotel, good and friendly service. Great breakfast etc. Good location in the middle of the town, good starting point for the city tripp. Should reconsider driving to the front of hotel with car to dropp your luggage as this can be a real adventure. Better to park your car first at the hotel suggested parking area.

Beautiful newly renovated palazzo, incredible location in the heart of Lecce (can walk anywhere in the city), and such wonderful and hospitable staff who go above and beyond to make sure your stay is pleasant! Loved our experience - 10/10 would recommend!

My partner and I recently spent 5 days in Lecce, staying at Palazzo Zimara. The accommodation was classically beautiful, and the staff provided exceptional service - which made out trip memorable. The staff's helpfulness went above and beyond anything we have experienced before. From the first time we met David, he treated us like old friends. Friendly & charasmatic, nothing was too much trouble. He helped us with everything, including getting us out of a difficult spot with a flat tyre on our rental vehicle, and organising a visit to a great beach club. Alessio was always friendly too, and was great to chat with and receive recommendations for places to visit or eat at. The restaurant at the hotel was exceptional too - we ate two dinners there; lovely steak and seafood. Daniel, our young waiter was very friendly, polite and thorough - and is the best machiato maker ever. Thankyou all at Palazzo Zimara & best wishes from David & Karen - Adelaide, Australia

We have just had a wonderful 5 night stay at Palazzo Zimara in Lecce. Everything was exceptional- the accomodation, the staff, the restaurant and the location. Breakfasts were lovely and the restaurant food and setting was so perfect we chose to eat there 2 nights during our stay. From the moment we arrived every staff member we came into contact with were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was sensational, spacious with beautiful vaulted ceilings and a balcony overlooking the charming laneway below. We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else if we came to Lecce again.

The place is incredible, the team’s welcome is lovely, and we feel right at home. The historic Renaissance palazzo is stunning. The room is spacious and very beautiful, and the place is very quiet even though it’s located on the pedestrian street. We enjoyed the garden to read and relax, the dinner was excellent — I highly recommend it — and the breakfast was delicious. We will be back, thank you.

Beautifully restored palace right in the heart of Lecce. Just oozing history. Our room was gorgeous with multilevel bathroom with double showers and waterfall spa bath. WC completely separate with own hand basin. Dinner and breakfast in garden was delicious. The only gripe was that service was a bit slow--especially at breakfast where it took ages for a second cup of coffee to arrive. That said, the staff assured they were working to sort that out. Reception desk staff outstandingly helpful and solved problems of arriving and departing with car which was complicated by roadworks. Overall, a wonderful experience.
