I enjoyed my stay at the Lodner Hotel. The rooms are basic but the bed was really comfortable. Two things stood out in my stay. The first was the friendly staff/owners who were really welcoming. The second was the lovely dinner I enjoyed - grilled chicken served with a delicious fresh salad. Additionally, I was given a tasty little appetiser and some fresh bread with curry butter prior to the main. All of this was accompanied by a lovely cold, locally brewed beer and an equally enjoyable red wine. The buffet style breakfast was also tasty with a range of dishes on offer.

Good location and public rooms look impressive. Don’t take room 116- very basic, overwhelming smell (spices we were told), radiator fully on, no towels, tiny caravan sized and looking bathroom with extremely small curtained shower, sink plug wouldn’t empty and toilet took ages to flush. Apparently no other room available in main building, though breakfast quiet and basic. No separate locked storage for bikes-just rear lobby. Restaurant closed for dinner but recommended Pizza Roma- excellent food and service

While the rooms are basic, the friendly staff (incl. the owner) are very interested to be of help, the breakfast buffet is supplied with all one would desire, an overall happy experience. I am not sure why there needs to be 200 charakters, I think I said it all ...

Hotel Lodner Lauingen Alleine das große Gebäude aus dem 16 Jahrhundert ist sehenswert. Die Räume des eigentümergeführten geführten Hotels sind liebevoll renoviert. Moderne Möbel, Lampen und Accessoires, wie zum Beispiel im Restaurant, haben das Flair des Hotels erhalten und noch interessanter gemacht. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ruhig, die Betten bequem. Der Service aller Mitarbeiter ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut, auch viele lokale Angebote an Wurst, Käse ... und sehr gute Backwaren. Auf Wunsch bekommt man gerne frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen. Wir hatten das Arrangement mit dem sehr guten „regionalen 3-Gänge Menü“. Das Speisen von der Tageskarte auf den Nachbartischen sahen auch sehr verlockend aus. Wir konnten unsere E-Bikes im Hotel Lodner sicher abstellen. Ein Blick in „Lodners Genusswerkstatt“ im Nachbarhaus lohnt sich. Wir fanden dort neben erlesenen Weinen und Gewürzen unter anderem das Olivenöl, das uns am Abend zuvor beim Amuse-Gueule so gemundet hat.
