"I'm sure it's one, of the the best hotels. Her in latacunga. I love it here, the peoble in the reception. Will do just about everything, for you if you ask them. The restaurant, makes wery good food. And i cant, complain abut the room service either. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms very clean. They clean them every. Best regards Patrick Køhler"

"The Cienega is such a cozy and charming location to stay near Cotopaxi. I had been there as a kid and it was even more lovely than I remembered it! My brother in law celebrated his birthday and the staff made sure to make it special for him. The bedrooms, atmosphere, staff, gardens, food were all amazing!"

"Very sterile and business like hotel. Not our style as we feel it had no soul. Rooms and hotel are modern. Had to ask staff to get water. Breakfast is nice but not the same if you are there in the week or at the weekend! At the weekend there is a buffet with a good selection but in the week the staff serve you breakfast, like in most places in Ecuador, but the selection is massively reduced. For instance you cannot get any muesli, there are less fruit and no Ecuadorian hot foods. The hotel room is very small. Staff don’t speak English."

"My family has been guests for many years, always greeted warmly and enamored by the beauty of the place. In the past few years, there is no longer a sense of hospitality or warmth, they no longer decorate for holidays, and the food is mediocre at best. The guy that manages the place has no social graces and is blatantly ******. When we arrived for our Christmas dinner reservation, he had the gall to tell us he gave priority seating in the nice dining room to foreigners (we’re Ecuadorian American but he assumed we’re just Ecuadorian). While everyone else (no one appeared Ecuadorian) seated was in the main room, he seated us alone in a side room even though the main room had an empty table adequate to hold our party. I strongly recommend they fire the ****** manager and bring back the magic that used to be characteristic of La Ciénega. "
