Located on the beach ⛱️ with 2 swimming pools Staff were lovely and very obliging. Coffee shop near reception was terrible service and coffee was undrinkable. However, poolside bar and restaurant/bar on the Beach were brilliant. Live music one night I was there was great too. Room was in older section, loved the easy access to pool and beach. However, bathroom could have been a little cleaner with very noticeable mould. Overall had a great time and would stay again.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and spacious, though the interior felt a bit worn, it was still in good condition overall. I also like the bar area where they have pool table and some games provided. A nice place to hang out or have a drink. The breakfast selection was good and enjoyable. The hotel is also within walking distance to the beach, with several restaurants and spas nearby, making it a convenient choice. They also have free parking space available for guest. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel!

I recently stayed at The Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa with my family, and it was an unforgettable experience. A special mention goes to Chef Mahesh Singh Rawat, the Indian Sous Chef, who went above and beyond to cater to our dietary requirements. His thoughtful gesture of making delicious tea for my family was truly appreciated and added a warm touch to our stay. The tea was delightful, and it’s these small acts of kindness that make a big difference. My family and I had an amazing time at the resort, enjoying the various amenities and the picturesque surroundings. We created some wonderful memories together that we will cherish forever. I highly recommend The Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa for families seeking a memorable and relaxing holiday.

I recently booked a 4 night stay at this hotel. Upon arrival Syam greeted us from our Grab taxi and was so helpful and took our bags. The check in was easy enough with just the tourist tax to additionally pay. I had requested a Beach Wing room. Syam took us to our bedroom and explained about which water was okay to drink. The room was huge, lots of space and a balcony. Air con as well as a ceiling fan. The bathroom was very dated and we did have a few issues which we made do with but the bathroom could have done with some renovations. The shower flooded the whole bathroom due to the cracked and broken ledge separating it, (see photo) there was no shower door so no way of preventing the water leaving the shower. The towels were fluffy and a generous size. Breakfast had a good selection and they do cook fresh eggs or omelette. The staff everywhere were all extremely welcoming and friendly. The pool was great and easy to get a sun lounger as so quiet. The beach again was great, the sea perfect of you had children as very calm and shallow. Overall a lovely stay but would be nice to have an upgraded bathroom.

Absolutely love this staycation! Very enjoyable stay in the suite on water amidst the nature. Though there were some initial hiccups in terms of long waiting time with lunch and Dayang cafe and cleanliness with the jacuzzi, but the entire stay is filled with wonderful memories over this New Year 2025! Kudos to the staff for the Gala party!!

A perfectly situated hotel very close to the beach and restaurants/cafes. The rooms are spacious and the pool & bar area are very nice. The pool is a good size and there are a decent amount of sun loungers but you have to get up very early to secure one in the morning. We managed to get one in the afternoons pretty easily. Overall a great choice if you are staying in Pentai Cenang area and dare I say the only choice.

Overall I loved the hotel and would stay there again. The beach there is amazing. The staff and the service were great. But it would be great to organise some activities for the guests, daily yoga, live music and so on. Because it can get pretty boring if you choose a longer stay because there's nothing around. The breakfast is fine but not 5 star hotel. More varieties would make it better. And the check-in is very late, I arrived after 1 and had to wait till exactly 3 pm. It was raining so couldn't really enjoy the outside. In general it's a nice hotel and I'd recommend it

It was a perfect stay. The staffs are nice and friendly. The ocean view with infinite pool at Horizon is breathtaking. The breakfast at Langkawi kitchen is yummy. Unfortunately HAIYAN was not open for breakfast. Will definitely come back!

Overall Our stay was very pleasant, and the excellent service and friendly staff significantly contributed to the positive experience. Pros: 1. Excellent amenities: The rooftop pool offered stunning sea and sunset views. We especially loved the jacuzzi, which provided good privacy as it was separate from the main pool. The 24-hour gym, with its sea-facing view, was also a highlight. 2. Each room featured a bathtub, adequately sized for one person. 3. The hotel's location was convenient, near Cenang Beach. While not within walking distance, Grab rides were readily available and inexpensive (approximately RM5-6 per trip). Several massage spas were also within a 5-7 minute walk.” 4. The hotel staff, including those at the front desk, porters, and restaurant staff, were consistently helpful and friendly. 5. The hotel is new, and requests for replenished toiletries were handled promptly. Cons: 1. The food at the rooftop pool bar was disappointing and overpriced. While the cocktails and beer were satisfactory, the food quality was subpar. We ordered calamari, which was shockingly small (see attached pictures - fewer than 10 pieces, with the first two large pieces being onion rings with no squid). This small plate cost RM28, which felt excessive. We would have preferred to spend that amount on another cocktail. 2. The breakfast experience was underwhelming. Although the restaurant's ambiance was pleasant, the food itself was not tasty. The main course was served as a set meal (one serving per person), and the beverage and salad bar options were limited. Over our 4D3N stay, the menu remained unchanged. 3. Daily room service consisted only of replenishing toiletries, towels, and water bottles, and making the bed. In four days, the floor was not vacuumed once. There was noticeable hair on the floor, which was never cleaned up. Even at home, we typically sweep our floors aevery other day. 4. Sea view rooms on the 6th floor have their view largely obstructed by trees.

Frangipani has potential to be one of the best in langkawi but sadly falls short it pains me to say anything negative because of their great service and hospitality but my criticism comes from a good place only wishing them to become better. First the things going for this place is the location Right at the beachfront you need to hardly walk a few steps regardless where your room is. Its Ideal place for elder vacationers and families with small kids.The beach has fine sand no jagged stones and its a huge private beach.The water is not clear or blue as would hope for but it is clean only even for this reason the stay is worth it.The place is serene with trees and plants. There is no high rise construction all the accomodation is on the ground atmost on 1st floor.Its all in villa style.The concept of being environment friendly is inspiring and rare in hotel business. The second amazing thing abou this resort is its service and hospitality which felt genuine. You truly feel like guests here. Nothing in this resort speaks of commercial. I am really grateful that they modified my bookings eventhough by rule modification wasnt allowed.Almost every employee in the resort greeted us with smiles . At the buffet the manager was very cordial and responsive to guest needs even special requirements. Unfortunately the resort has become old and needs dire maintainence and renoavtion. The main doors if the room have a cheap feel and lacks weight doesnt feel premium. The quality of paint on the walls is inferior quality . Paint has not been applie in a professional way. All the furniture in the room is wooden which is a good things but it is worned down hasnt been polished or painted properly its all blotchy which makes it feel cheap. Tauting it self as a green resort the landscaping is just not up to the mark, too much yellow in between the greens. The grass is unkempt and many places it seems it hasnt been cut in a while. The swimming pools are very small in comparision to the resort and lacks sauna or steam bath. Of 2 jacuzzis one was out of order. All over the resort there are many such amenities That are put of orders broken and dilipidated surprisingly all these issues can be addressed very easily i am speaking from experience i am willing to take a contract if the owner wants and i can turn around the resort at an econimical price. I think the resort has come into a comfort zone from which it needs to come out.
