SSom-0We had the most incredible experience, from the moment we arrived, the service was next level—every single staff member greeted us by name, which made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. How do they remember everyone?!
The hotel was spotless! We were always well-stocked with bottled water and we’re pretty sure every room has a view of the ocean—absolutely stunning!
One of the biggest highlights was having access to their sister hotel The Sands next door. It has a fantastic mini water park and our kids had the best time—we spent an entire day there. The buffet breakfast also had heaps of variety and the free buggy to the shops made getting around so convenient.
A huge shout out to Tom, Jerry, Nestcafe, Tea, Tu, Kookai, Lucy 1, Cake—and honestly, every single staff member! You all made our stay extra special. Thank you for going above and beyond. We’ll definitely be back!

RRamona AntoniaDie Villa war wunderschön genauso wie der Rest der gesamten Hotel Anlage. Der Strand Abschnitt war sehr sauber. Leider gab es zu wenig Liegestühle, bzw. wurden diese schon von den Pensionisten noch vor Sonnen Aufgang mit Handtüchern reserviert.
Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Außerhalb der Anlage waren rundherum Restaurants, 7eleven, Bankomat und der Markt. Das Essen war eigentlich überall sehr gut. Haben uns diesbezüglich an Google Bewertungen orientiert. Die Ausflüge die wir vorab gebucht hatten waren im Hotel gleich vom Preis.

PPlum31Moracea has a really good location on one of the most picturesque resort beaches in Khao Lak. The rooms are decent, though the resort may be starting to show its age a bit. The only issue we had with our rooms were truly poor pillow quality. We ended up swapping to the lounger pillows and throwing the cases on them instead.
The resort seems to have handled the issue many other reviewers mention about people booking sun loungers way in advance and leaving them ”vacant” for hours. If you're out around 7-9am, you ought to find a nice seat by the beach. Even later would still work.
We had some terrific service in general at Moracea. Staff seemed hospitable and friendly, even by Thai standards. We did feel that restaurants and bars could certainly be improved in general, but not at all related to the staff. The food quality for dinner/lunch was really bland, and we opted to eat out every meal aside from a nice breakfast (which had plenty of variety for our tastes).
We would certainly book again.

PPithita M.The hotel is very beautiful with a great atmosphere. The layout of each zone is well organized. I stayed here for two nights during a long weekend, and the place was quite crowded since many guests came at the same time. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service from check-in to check-out.
Parking space is limited, but guests can park outside the hotel and use the shuttle service provided. The room was spacious with a large bed. I chose the room with direct pool access — it was amazing! The bathroom was separated into wet and dry zones, and all the amenities were fully provided. There was even a capsule coffee machine for guests — excellent!
The air conditioning system is digital, and there’s also a ceiling fan. Two key cards are provided. The hotel has a fitness room for guests, and there’s a bar by the beach which is perfect for relaxing. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options.
However, I have a few complaints: the room was quite dusty — when I wiped the table, there was dust on my hand. The pillows, blanket, and bedsheets had a musty smell, as if they hadn’t fully dried. Also, breakfast time felt a bit chaotic because guests had to wait in line, and there were times when plates, spoons, and glasses weren’t restocked quickly enough.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay with just a few small issues that could be improved
