Hotel dekat Air Terjun Khlong Nonsi, Koh Chang

Serenity resort Amazing hotel - would highly recommend staying here. We stayed at serenity resort for 2 nights on arriving at Koh Chang from Bangkok. The location is so so idyllic and relaxing, absolutely beautiful. We also stayed on the west side of the island for a couple of nights and while it is quieter on the east side of the island (ie, there is no point in leaving the resort in the evening as there is nothing really to do on the east side after dark) this is exactly what we were after. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Food and drinks at the restaurant were great and reasonably priced. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Lovely view. As other reviews have said, if you are staying here you will likely want your own transport so you can explore. We rented a moped from the resort at a very reasonable price. If you want to rent a car make sure you have an intl driving permit (takes a few mins to obtain but must do whilst in the UK). There’s barely any traffic on this side of the island so the drive down to long beach at the south of the island felt very safe on a moped despite the hills (and would be the same in a car). The resort staff recommended us to do this and then get kayaks over to Koh ngam, which we did and was a great experience! The other option is to rent a taxi for a day (we were quoted c2500 baht for 6 hours) and they can drop you wherever you like and wait for you. Thanks again for a lovely stay at serenity resort!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with a stunning view that made every morning special. The facilities were excellent — the pool area was relaxing and well maintained, and there were plenty of comfortable spots to unwind. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. Everything felt thoughtfully planned to ensure guests have a memorable experience.

Really enjoyed our stay. Immaculate property, pool area spacious and well maintained. Restaurant serves wonderful food authentic Thai which we enjoyed so much. Last but not least the extremely friendly staff makes this resort stand out from the rest. Will definitely return.

The hotel is old, like really old, it was built in 1989 and it’s very visible. The bedsheets, towels are so old and dirty like 2 star motel. Deluxe family room looks like rooms in 1989 also. Not modern at all. We upgraded to villa (had to pay a lot for this) and it’s good, a bit old but much better, with beach view and private territory. The territory of hotel is really beautiful and big, it’s like a park and beach is great. You can also take cayak to get to the small island nearby. The birds (hornbills) that live at the hotel are really beautiful and worth seeing! Everything closes really early - even game room - it’s just a room with board games and we wanted to play there and the staff told us that they were closing at 7.30 p.m! Why not open this room until 10 at least 😀 No evening activities at all. Everything gets quiet and dead at 7 p.m. There is beach cinema announcement at reception on Sundays, but when we arrived on Sunday, the staff told us that there will be no movies 🫣 Отель очень старый, просто древний, постельное белье и полотенца в ужасном состоянии. Семейный номер на горе - это просто ужас. Детский бассейн на горе ушатанный. Единственное достойное в этом отеле - виллы с видом на море. В них нормальная мебель, полотенца и особое меню на завтраках. Прекрасная территория и пляж. Птицы-носороги - это восторг. Обезьяны нас не беспокоили - но мы жили на вилле рядом с морем. Думаю, в лесных номерах их полно.. В 7 часов вечера в отеле все закрывается, полная тишина. Никаких развлечений. Пляж прекрасный, надеюсь, что отель займется реновацией номеров, приведением их в современный стиль.

Great hotel. Kids loved the 3 pools and the water park. Excellent rooms with plenty of space. Excellent food and brilliant service. The staff helped the kids during meal times. Everything can be done by the hotel but there are local amenities just a minutes walk away including laundry and Marco’s fantastic Italian. The hotel is split into 2 parts opposite each other - water park is where most families like us stayed, the beach side is also great. I didn’t realise the beach was so beautiful- definitely worth a visit. The beach here was much nicer than down the coast: soft yellow sand and gently getting deeper- good for kids. High recommend.

Kami memesan tiga kamar, dua di antaranya berada di lantai pertama. Lantai pertama sungguh tidak layak huni, sangat lembab, pakaian dalam yang sudah dicuci tidak dapat kering selama dua hari, dan rasanya saya harus mengeringkan rambut saya beberapa kali sebelum bisa kering. Perabotannya sudah tua, dan baunya tercium begitu saya memasuki ruangan itu. Bahkan tercium bau cat yang kuat. Ya ampun, aku sudah ke Thailand berkali-kali, tapi belum pernah memberi penilaian pada hotel mana pun. Ini pertama kalinya saya mengunjungi hotel ini. Lobi terlihat cukup mewah, tetapi kamar di lantai pertama benar-benar tidak layak huni... Pelayanan pelayannya ok. Saya memilih hotel yang biayanya lebih dari 1.000 yuan untuk dua hari ke depan. Secara keseluruhan, rasanya jauh lebih baik. Memang benar, Anda mendapatkan apa yang Anda bayar.

It was such a pleasant stay located in Kaibae which is my favorite area when I stay in Koh chang. The price is too good to be real comparing to what you get, free breakfast, clean nice budget room, very polite staff, great location, 4 pools in the property?? It's just insane to me!!

This hotel is situated over the water with stilts, which I loved. Its unique appearance, with all its natural wood flooring and decks adds to its charm and feel of the fishing community. It’s a terrific place to stay for some great Thai Seafood! The VIP rooms are recommended as they are spacious and have a lovely outside space to relax over looking the water. They also have plenty of windows and natural lighting. These rooms are very comfortable. It has a restaurant attached to it, also over the water on stilts, which serves fantastic, fresh sea food dishes! My favorite meals was the barracuda with sweet and sour sauce and the calamari. They are good sized meals and their fresh juices are also perfect for the heat! Aoys farm bakery and cafe is also very close by. If you go to your left of the entrance to this hotel you will see the sign for her cafe and bakery. Aoy makes the most delicious cakes that are supplied to many hotels and businesses on the island! Highly recommend going to see her charming cafe and bakery! It’s a short walk and great for fantastic breakfasts and fresh juices or warm drinks, if you don’t want sea food at the resort, go there! The pool is lovely, as the water below the hotel is not clean and we did not want to swim in it. There are other beach locations for swimming. You can hire a fishing rod and do some DIY fishing, or pay for fishing half or full day trips, hire bikes, and kayaks. I was satisfied with this location and would certainly consider staying there again for a night or two!
