TTan69!What a wonderful stay! We were welcomed so warmly by all the staff. The room smelt lovely - all the linen and towels smelt amazing! Comfortable beds…..Breakfast delicious and plentiful, one of the best I’ve had. We ate dinner there on our second night, also delicious. Location perfect for relaxing but also not far from the museums etc, reception arranged a taxi for the Hell Fire Pass centre.
I wouldn’t hesitate to return or to recommend this lovely hotel.

KKate7777Overall vibes and service of resort staff were awesome. Though it’s stated 5-star, amenities were dated. Space is big, gets a little spooky at night due to extreme darkness around the area. Knowing the history of kanchanaburi I couldn’t step out after 9pm 😂 No Netflix hence you could wind down and relax at this place.
If you want a relaxing place to stay, definitely consider Dheva Mantra.

TTamuOh, such a mixed bag! I really want to rate this place higher but I have to consider both its pros and cons. This place seems to suffer from a crisis of identity - it appears to want to be a great cafe/restaurant and it just so happens to have a hotel attached to it, almost as an afterthought. Our room was sparse - stripped of all but the absolute essentials. You could see where bedside tables should be, but had been removed. A desk, but no chair to sit at it on. Hot water that was hot for one minute then cold for four (and for a hotel of this price, there should definitely have been toiletries provided). The mattress and pillows were heavenly soft, but the rattling of the air-conditioning unit and adjacent live music venues made sleep difficult. The walls between the two units on each level were thin enough you could listen to your neighbour's TV as though it was in your own room. But! The breakfast offering was well above what we expected for the price. When there was an interruption to the local electricity supply the reception staff generously gave us resort vouchers to use for the inconvenience. It was all just so inconsistent - equal parts great and mediocre. I definitely wouldn't recommend AGAINST staying here, but I would hope that the resort staff took my feedback into consideration before our next stay.

TTamuWe had a lovely time at Campster and stayed one night in the camper van. We arrived around 1 pm and got our room at 2 pm (we hadn't notified of our early arrival). We were served welcome drink (refreshing) while we waited by the pool for the room to get ready. The camper van was nice and compact with all basic facilities. The bunk beds can fit kids only. The location is out of the town but it was easy for find a grab. We paid around THB 200 from Death Bridge Railway station for a SUV which is reasonable. The driver offered us his services in case we needed to go around town or back to Bangkok but we had already booked a car for the next day to take us to Erawan in the morning and then to Bangkok in the evening (paid THB 2800 for SUV) whereas he had offered THB 3000.
There are limited options for food (especially since we eat halal only). We ordered veg pizza's which were not bad. They also have the ready to make noodles and food price is reasonable. There is unlimited supply of water free of cost. Coffee is not great. You get a drink eggs and toasts for breakfast that can be served in the restaurant or to your room.
The area is tidy and they have some activities like campfire (free marshmallows and yakult), swimming pool, playground/ garden, swings, bicycles and kayaks. For an additional cost they also arrange jet ski, standing board, water bike and wet raft.
The staff are friendly and helpful but many of them don't speak English. The supervisor is a nice lady and speaks fluent english.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and i would prefer it any day over staying in a regular hotel.
