PPatti S.The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk across the train station, with a multitude of food and shopping options nearby. We booked the family room, which is spacious, well-lit, and beautifully decorated. Check-in was convenient and smooth. Definitely recommended!

PPatrickEOverall, this hotel was a superb experience.
We arrived around 18.00 in the evening after a long drive. Unfortunately some technical error in their system required us to wait in the lobby for about 30min, but we were swiftly compensated in the form of free parking and a complimentary prosecco in the room.
The room itself was beautiful. Amazing view, very comfortable bed and TV placement, a very long bathtub. The only mild annoyance was that the bathroom light was finicky to turn on and adjust.
The spa is a must-experience, especially after a long drive from one side of Sweden to the other. It was excellent; nothing to complain about.
The best thing about Upper House however, is the breakfast. I have never had a better breakfast experience anywhere else in the world. I would gladly stay again just to eat their breakfast menu.
Very excellent stay, great service and great food. A solid 9.5/10 experience.

TTamuGreat staff, lovely rooms. Fantastic location, overlooking the train station so request a room on the other side if this will bother you. Very accommodating when we needed a super early breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

TTamuBerlokasi strategis di seberang jalan dari stasiun kereta Gothenburg. Anda dapat berjalan-jalan di sekitar kota tua, berjalan ke dermaga dan menikmati angin sepoi-sepoi.
Di sebelah pusat perbelanjaan besar Nordstan, nyaman untuk berbelanja dan makan.
Sarapannya banyak variasinya.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful room, very high standard service by the staff clearly well trained in hospitality service. Staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. Shout out to Victoria who welcomed us upon our arrival and made our check in process a pleasure. She even let us in earlier than usual check in time as our room were ready early.
Vey comfortable bed, nice ambient lighting. Good space with sofa and a few small table.
Perfect location in the Central station on the first and second floor, so you can just jump from the hotel corridor to be on the ground floor (seriously, don't do this, just take the lift or escalator like a normal sane person:))
Not noisy at all in my room despite next to the train stop. Very well design sound proof room.
Breakfast buffet was amazing, good rang of options even for someone like my family that only eat Halal food - various vegetarians and eggs suitable food.
Luggage storage free of charge before check in or after checking out to help you enjoy Gothenburg without the need to carry your extra tonne of luggages.
Sauna and gym are also available for the customers.

None really, for the price tag I think the hotel is perfect.

TTamuLoved the location of this hotel as well as the downstairs communal areas. Also the size of the room was great.
Unfortunately the bed was incredibly uncomfortable and cheap so I barely slept a wink in my 3 nights there. I asked for an extra pillow as you only get one and that still didn’t help.
Staff were lovely when I did speak to them, but you can easily go by your whole stay without talking to someone which is a shame as you don’t get told any information.
There was also no fridge or safe in the rooms which I thought was pretty standard.
Food at the breakfast buffet was really good though. Great options for vegans/gluten free too.
