TTamuThis is a historical hotel where the author of James Bond books once lived and where one of the movies was filmed.
The rooms are good quality.
The spa has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, massage showers, hammam, sauna. However, they refused to give me more than 1 towel per visit.
The breakfast is good quality. You can order a custom-made omelette with various ingredients. The fruit choice included mango and papaya even in winter.
The only unpleasant moment was that they tried to downgrade the room category for us (give a lower category room than originally booked, even though it was in low season). I have never experienced that before in my entire life. Fortunately, thanks to an efficient intervention of the trip.com customer support, we managed to get the exact room type that we originally booked, but there was a little bit of a stress, so I advise everyone to double-check directly with the hotel what room category you will be put in BEFORE you arrive.

TTamuThe hotel was clean although not the best for business trips. I had a long meeting in the room and the chair was very uncomfortable. I think more suitable for leisure trips. The breakfast was quite ok, although the ham and cheese quality was not superb. The location is very good, really close to the beach and services quite supportive and kind. I would recommend overall for short stays.

TTamuI had a nice stay in the hostel, it just feels like home and everyone was friendly and accomodating. What I really like was the location because it was just close to the beautiful Carcavelos Beach, shops and metro station are also nearby so it was very convinient. Another thing that I like about my stay was the amenities they offer like the kitchen where you can cook your food anytime, they also have a swimming pool, a spacious living area where you can watch tv or just chill with your phone or laptop. I would difinitely recommend this hostel and would probably stay here again on my next visit to Portugal.
