Hotel dekat Canberra Centre, Canberra

The room is clean. City view is brilliant! Location is convenient. There are quite a few restaurants around it.

Hyatt Hotel is located beside Lake Burley Griffin. Easy to reach by car but seems like there is not much public transport nearby. We rented a car for our trip in Canberra so accessibility wasn’t an issue for us. Hotel parking was AUD30 in their underground carpark. They recommended for us to park on the street parking. Paid parking for daytime from 8.30am. Parking overnight was free. Popular landmarks of Canberra was within minutes drive from the hotel. Snapper & Co. restaurant was 5 minutes drive from the hotel and they serve great fish and chips! From the exterior of the hotel, you could tell that the hotel is of a certain age. But the interior was grand and nice! The room was spacious and clean! Was surprised to see Le Labo amenities! Bath salt was also provided. Had 2 other rooms on a different booking, and they managed to allocate rooms side by side. By far the best hotel I have ever stayed in!

Our internet service wasn’t good / and shower had a little bit issues. The hotel solved it quickly . The hotel service is excellent. in the room it provide coffee machine / kettle - Italy good brand . Also I really like the shower gel / body lotion provided by the hotel - these all 5 stars hotel standard. It is highly recommended. The only thing I can criticize to the hotel is it should replace the shower head .

Overall, our stay at Madison Apartments was pleasant once we finally got into the room. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed — from toiletries to kitchen essentials. The A/C wasn’t working properly at the time, but it wasn’t a big issue since the weather was cool. However, the check-in process was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I had called ahead to ask if we could check in just 30 minutes early as I wasn’t feeling well and needed to rest. Upon arriving around 1:35 pm, we were told the room wasn’t ready, which I completely understood since the official check-in time was 2 pm. But when we came back at 2:40 pm, the room was ”still not ready”. The receptionist asked us to wait another 30 minutes to an hour — we ended up waiting until almost 3:30 pm, and it was still not prepared. It was honestly a terrible start to our stay — being sick, exhausted, and having nowhere to rest while continuously being told “just a little longer.” The receptionist was kind and apologetic, but it was clear she wasn’t getting any real updates from housekeeping. It felt disorganised and unprofessional for an apartment of this standard. Breakfast was another letdown for $25 per person — very basic, with no hot food. Just bread, cereal, fruit in syrup, and some bakery items. The pancakes were the only saving grace. Coffee mix wasn’t good either. Once inside, though, the apartment itself made up for it — spacious, comfortable, and had everything you could need. It’s a nice place overall, but the check-in process seriously needs improvement.

Disappointing, I participated in the National AGM of the largest association in the world and the hotel ran out of one of the most popular tap beer and white wine, just one hour after the guests checked-in/arrived. The hotel advertised 1 hour happy hour every day but the Op Manager staff the bar with only one bartender. Guests lining up for half hour to get the happy hour deal, to be told, ”sorry, the 'happy hour' is finished. The AGM room lighting set up absolutely poor, hard to see and hear anyone, the committee having to re-organise the room. If it wasn't for the every day cleaning the room and the breakfast service, I would have ranked the hotel less than 3 stars, at @ 279/night. I have stayed at other properties in Canberra, such as Kurajong Hotel, for less money but for exceptional experience.

This hotel is amazing and exceeded my expectations! All the facilities are new and in excellent condition. The room is very spacious, equipped with central air conditioning and a large, modern TV that supports screen casting — which is perfect for guests on vacation. I’m really happy to have stayed here!

Big room with an interesting mini bar. The breakfast variety was great as well. One downside is that Ctrip has some misleading pictures about the hotel.

Segala hal yang bisa salah memang salah!!! Untuk kamar yang diperuntukkan bagi penyandang cacat, tidak ada stopkontak di dekat tempat tidur. Satu-satunya stopkontak yang tersedia di kamar adalah di kamar mandi. AC dinyalakan secara manual dan diposisikan di atas jendela sehingga siapa pun yang menggunakan kursi roda atau yang bertubuh pendek tidak dapat menjangkaunya. Satu-satunya tempat untuk menggantung pakaian adalah di belakang pintu kamar mandi. Kamar mandinya cukup besar, tetapi ketika saya hendak menggantung handuk di gantungan baju, handuk itu terlepas!!!! Dan bagian atas toiletnya rusak. Kemudian saya membuka kulkas dan tampak seperti kaleng soda yang meledak dan tidak ada yang membersihkannya. Ketika saya memberi tahu anggota staf bahwa dia sangat ramah, dia masuk dan membersihkan kulkas, memberi saya papan daya dan kabel ekstensi untuk tempat tidur yang sangat membantu. Tetapi kemudian di pagi hari, anggota staf muda itu membutuhkan waktu satu setengah jam untuk membawakan roti lapis panggang ke kamar saya setelah mengatakan itu hanya akan memakan waktu 10 menit. Dia jelas lupa tentang itu. Jadi setelah pengalaman buruk seperti itu, saya meminta uang saya kembali!!!!
