Beautiful designed, easy living space, selected materials, great facilities = happy place. Stylish atmosphere, good music, fantastic vibes. We attended a yoga retreat and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Lovely staff and excellent cuisine.

We arrived early in the morning, My family and I from Vienna to get a quick relaxation and a rest from a stressful work week, We were welcomed with a smile on the face and all of our need have been taken care of during our stay. I specially enjoyed the walks by the nearby river and hiking to `Masi di sopra` hill. Strongly recommend to couples of families . You will get relaxed, Enjoy the Tirol Alps hospitality (On the Italian side : ) and if you are a gourmet person you will love the rich prepared meals ! I won`t mention anything else in which true hedonist enjoys

I have visited the Italian Tyrol Hotel by the recommendation from my friend. Hotel is situated between orchards and wine yards in a beautiful valley. There is indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, fitness and Yoga retreat . Brekfast Buffet Lunch and Dinner were great. If you want a bit of close to rural experience rest, fine wine and beautiful walks this is a Hotel and place for you. Lana is beautiful in the summer not like some beach but as an continental lodge and retreat !

We've spent the other half of our vacation in southtyrol at Hotel Schwarzschmied which is located close to the beautiful city of Meran. It is surrounded by vineyards and the whole setting and design of the place is just extraordinary. The moment we entered our room I fell in love. The garden suite is one of the most beautiful rooms Schwarzschmied has to offer. The most amazing detail is the large bathtub with a view over the vineyards and church. Rarely I have felt so comforted and like home when entering a hotel room. I've been so tempted to spent there every minute of my stay and just the fact that everything else was so great as well. There is a great spa with three saunas, indoor and outdoor pool and best of it: there's a yoga class everyday! Even my boyfriend tried it once and liked it. The Yoga teacher is exceptional and also gives great holistic massages which I've tried as well. Also, there are special activities everyday like guided hikes or cultural events. I can't really say that I've hiked a lot but that surely didn't keep me from enjoying the wonderful food they served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast and lunch was served in buffet form and you can choose from three courses for dinner. And guess what: one of the courses is always vegan or vegetarian. And if theres nothing on the menue which you like, you can always ask for another alternative and everybody will try their best to meet your wishes. I'm still searching for the right words but my whole stay I've just felt so very welcomed and cozy. I hope to be able to go back there some day.

Small hotel in southern tyrol with an exellent service and comfortable rooms. An very traditional and modern restaurant.

This was our second visit to Schwarzschmied and certainly not our last. A true oasis in the calmest and most relaxing surroundings imaginable. But the best thing is that they have captured the real meaning of hospitality. The staff makes you feel welcome from the minute you arrive and the whole place has a homey atmosphere. Unfortunately, my wife got really sick during our stay, which meant we had to shorten our trip. Everyone was so helpful with contacting doctors etc. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks!

An amazing place and true paradise. A dynamic friendly team, excellent service throughout, stunning rooms, and a gorgeous setting, in the middle of vineyards and fruit orchards. Food was creative and delicious. We can't wait to return!!!

A very very nice hotel! With a beautiful view! We had the rooftop room, with view on the church, winefields and the swimmingpool. The breakfast and dinner were superbe! Also the grill dinner at the sisterhotel Arnica was great! The owners of all 4 hotels did a great job! We saw them all and all were great!

We spent three night in the hotel, including half board. The food was really good and we would recommend the half-board. The service was somewhat mixed, the service personnel would e.g. not ask you whether you wanted a 2nd glass of wine or more water, unless you told them so. The massages in the Spa were really excellent, better than we had at other places. We did not mind the few pets in the hotel, however, when pet owner go out with their dogs and let them do their business right in front of the sauna visitors, then this should be avoided. The rooms were all open with the shower in the room - without door. Very stylish, however, we did not find this so practical. There was no heating in the room and this could not be changed, even when there is a sudden temperature change and we felt it was cold in the room. By trying to put on the heater in the open bathroom (in vain) we also found old socks from a previous client - not so nice. All in all, we found it was too expensive for the service offered.

i can't say enough nice things about our time at schwarzschmied... incredible friendly and efficient. the food is delicious. the yoga was spot on. lana is absolutely charming. our room was a DREAM. i have a stressy job - within 24 hours i was completely at ease.

Veniamo in questo hotel da tanti anni e per noi è la nostra oasi di relax, dove staccare e riposarsi. Lo Schwarzschmied è un hotel davvero eccellente, nel centro di Lana, circondato dalla quiete dei vigneti e con una splendida vista sulle Dolomiti. Le camere sono tutte nuove e bellissime, così come le zone relax con il camino e la piscina esterna, riscaldata tutto l’anno. La cucina è di altissimo livello, con ricca colazione e cena di altissima qualità. Tutto il personale è sempre disponibile e cordiale. Lo consigliamo a tutti per una meravigliosa vacanza!!

Schönes langes Wochenende Yoga Retreat -Top,,, das Hotel ist schön gelegen, Zimmer sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, der außen Pool hat die perfekte Temperatur. Spa spacious mit einem schönem Kamin im Ruheraum, das Essen war exquisit, das Frühstück reichhaltig mit Entsafter und unglaublich leckerem Poschiertem Ei.

Wir sind begeistert von euch und werden wieder kommen! Danke für den angenehmen Aufenthalt, für uns von A-Z eifach nur Wow. Ein schönes Hotel an einem wunderschönen Ort, freundliches Personal, das Essen, die Massage, das Yoga einfach alles wie in einem Traum!

Ich war mit einer Freundin für ein paar Tage hier, um Yoga zu machen, die Gegend zu erkunden und zu entspannen. Ich weiß nicht, wie oft wir ganz beseelt "hach, ist es hier schön!" gesagt haben. Es war insgesamt einfach ALLES perfekt: Der Transfer vom Bahnhof Burgstallt war zuverlässig. Wir wurden sehr herzlich im Hotel empfangen und haben gleich mal ein Upgrade vom Zimmer erhalten. Dieses war sehr stylisch (mit natürlichen, hellen Farben und Materialien) eingerichtet. Wir hatten viel Platz und einen riesigen Balkon mit Blick auf den Pool. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Das große Bett bequem und funktioniert hat auch alles. Da wir Halbpension gebucht hatten, sind wir jeden Abend in den Genuss eines 4-Gänge-deluxe-Menüs gekommen, das seinesgleichen sucht. Für uns war das Sterneküche! Wir haben nur noch gestaunt, was uns hier geboten wurde. Sehr kreative Küche mit hochwertigen Produkten, perfekte Harmonie optisch und geschmacklich jeder Gang ein Erlebnis. Ein herzliches Dankeschön noch an die Köche und das stets aufmerksame und immer freundliche Servicepersonal. Das Frühstück war toll mit einigen Sachen, die man sonst nicht am Buffet findet. Viele Komponenten (z. B. die Eierspeisen) wurden frisch für uns zubereitet. Smoothies und O-Saft konnte man sich selbst frisch machen. Das tägliche Yoga mit Matthäa war sehr professionell angeleitet und angenehm. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns auch der beheizte Außenpool, in dem wir, obwohl es März war, fleißig geschwommen sind. Sauna, Spa und Fitnessraum haben wir nicht genutzt. Das machen wir beim nächsten Besuch - und der ist sicher!
