Appreciated the simplistic rustic atmosphere of the accomodation. Far from the madding crowd. Lush vegetation, ancient trees, wooden lodgings. Good for those seeking peace and quiet without trappings of nearby malls or busy touristic areas.

Nice and quiet but very dated, staff were lovely couldn't be more helpful, breakfast was adequate, just what we were looking for, can't really complain for the price 😀

Lampang River Lodge adalah bangunan hotel besar yang tersebar di antara tanaman hijau. Akomodasi ini berlokasi di bungalow kayu yang nyaman, berperabotan indah dan dilengkapi dengan segala kenyamanan: TV layar datar, lemari es, brankas, jubah mandi, dll. Tempat tidurnya besar dan nyaman dan kamar mandinya memiliki semua fasilitasnya. Taman kecil tempat bungalow berada juga merupakan rumah bagi beberapa hewan liar, hias, dan tidak berbahaya. Restoran ini terletak di bawah kanopi besar yang menampung puluhan meja. Menunya bervariasi dan sarapan yang disajikan pagi hari di lokasi yang sama, kaya dan enak. Di luar taman terdapat tempat parkir mobil yang luas dan staf hotel menyediakan bantuan dalam mengangkut barang bawaan ke bungalo Anda.

We had this hotel booked by our local Thai tour operator for only one night as a part of our northern Thailand tour. Hotel is located in the jungle, between a pond and Wang river on the other side. We found the hotel grounds so beautiful and calm and really enjoyed our stay there. Have in mind you have nothing to do there, but relax and take a break. Lampang city is around 20 min drive. We used the pool in the afternoon and morning for a swim, as well relaxed on sunbeds overlooking the pond. At night we had a massage, dinner and just walked around the hotel grounds which were romantically lit. Rooms are in small bungalows, a little bit dated but still cute and clean. Ours was towards the river so we had a great view. As you might expect in such a location mosquitos are unbearable, so bring a repellent. Breakfast was very good and is served in a restaurant right on the river accessible via small bridge. Unfortunately, dinner was pretty disappointing so I deduct one star. Do not take the buffet menu, which was below average and pretty expensive for Thailand. Rather order something from the regular menu. Have in mind there's no other option to dine in vicinity. Overall I do recommend this hotel for a night, max 2 nights stay but wouldn't stay longer.
