Ulasan The Briza Beach Resort, Khao Lak

First time holiday in Thailand. I was warmly welcomed by every members of staff I had encountered. My room was close to the quiet and sandy beach. My room was spacious, comfortable and was cleaned daily. The inclusive buffet breakfast was extensive, varied and delicious, a choice of both Asian and European selections. The free Wi-Fi covered all areas of the hotel and its' ground. A special mention to the Reception staff who contacted Tui regarding a no show from a trip I've booked through Tui on line. I did get a fast refund from Tui and the Reception booked another trip using the hotel's tour company. The trip was enjoyable, professionally organised and reasonably priced. The only minor negative comment I have is the cushions on the sunlounges are a bit thin and uncomfortable but as there were many unused loungers around the beach area, I just doubled up and the problem was solved. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 weeks stay at Briza Beach Hotel and hope to return soon.

The Briza is a beautiful resort with cool, spacious rooms and easy access to several wonderful pools. The resort is located on the shore of the Andaman Sea. The staff are friendly and capable and very helpful. Be sure to include breakfast when you book, it is a grand smorgasbord. I cannot say enough about the Briza, except welcome to paradise!

If you are looking for place to stay with family at Khaolak, not recommend this hotel, from time of check no standard at all, poor communication with basic English, pls find a 5 star hotel brand to have better experience. There’s a lot of 5 star hotel and not that expensive’ At the end we move to better 5 star hotel. Such a waste time & money when do booking online. Online and actual is totally different which is normal in Thailand.

Good 3 star hotel in a nice location - taxis expensive though to get around Rooms - we travelled with tui and you get allocated deluxe annexe room, these are over the road( this leads to just hotel car park) rooms are spacious, brightly decorated and lovely balcony over the quieter pool (which gets shade) however a handful of sunbeds only around this pool unless your in a ground floor room. Bathrooms are dated , our shower was t the best and they are dark with a ridiculous stone bath in.. rooms had fridge (with small freezer - we took with us a small ice pack to keep drinks in the day cook) kettle, Nescafé sachets and milk sachets, 2 bottles of complimentary water all replenished daily… The hunsa bar at this pool doesn’t open at all Housekeeping came in everyday and did a basic job, however not the cleanest of rooms, we had dust on our mirror all week which never got cleaned off and floor always felt there was sand on it Over the road is the main part of the hotel which breakfast area, bar, main pool and beach are - standard rooms here look alder and have interconnecting door, beach rooms look nice and spacious Pool here gets very hot and has no shade, the floor around the pool is pebble dash so not good to walk on but it’s anti slip, also the slopped area into the pool is made of this and would be uncomfortable to sit / play on Bar / restaurant overpriced especially when there is so much choice on the street or 10 min walk to the left on the beach Beach sunbeds get taken early but always beds / parasols around the pool available Beach is lovely but very strong waves, also jellyfish in the sea at this time of year Taxi to night market is 600baht return which £13 return it’s a 10 min ride There is a waterfall and asia elephant home within a 15 min walk which I’d recommend going too Turtle sanctuary 600 baht return in a taxi I’d stay here again but only if you hired mopeds, your quite far from the main resort centre and taxis are expensive however there around enough restaurants, shops, massages etc outside the hotel for a few days Beach bars are the best, turn left out the hotel beach, walk passed all the hotels and you one to nanas and my friend (not on Google maps) good food, drinks, beach swings, nice friendly dogs and great staff with a lovely sunset view

Unfortunately just not a good standard of hotel. Initial impressions were so bad we considered changing hotels. Left for 40 mins before check in and then had to wait 3 hours for our bags. Room was dirty with stained sheets and worn out bath mat. Reception staff were also rude. Things did improve with the cleanliness of the room and the beach is beautiful. Nowhere near enough sun loungers and as others have said they are all reserved by 8:00am. Also very few umbrellas. Breakfast was poor overall and very average quality. Def Won’t be returning as this hotel just isn’t up to the standards we were expecting. Very tired looking overall.

Had a fantastic holiday at briza beach 15th to 31st March 2024 had room 802 deluxe room on bb basis. Hotel very clean excellent breakfast menu,pool area and beach very nice.All staff are amazing and friendly but worthy of a special mention Ritthichai(manager) in the panalai restaurant Doungjai bow and benz and in the Maya restaurant wimon and maprong theese people made our holiday. There are plenty of restraunts and bars in the main street all clean serving very good food at reasonable prices. Plenty of supermarkets pharmacy and souvenir shops. This is our second visit to Briza beach and it will not be the last. Thank you to all the staff who work here we have had a truly amazing time.

This was our third stay in Briza Khao Kak and it won't be our last !! As with previous stays we booked a pool access room which was great, this rime we had one with step access which was easier. Some of the pool access rooms don't have steps into the pool which can make it difficult to get out. The beach is lovely and there were plenty of sunbeds available during our stay although some of them were 'booked' early in the morning and not used for many hours which could be an issue. The breakfast was good, we ate other meals out so I can't comment on those. All the staff we met were lovely, I cannot remember names but Bow who we met again this year is so helpful and chatty.

Lovely place. Quiet and relaxing. Positioned right on the beach, which was so beautiful. The rooms need a refurb, but they were clean and cleaned every day. Our room was well positioned, right by the pool, we had our own lounger, so no worries about soaking u the sun.The swimming pools were perfect for cooling off. The buffet breakfast was lovely and served a good coffee, too. The restaurant served lovely cocktails. We would definitely return, lovely relaxing hotel.

Отель состоит из двух корпусов. Тот что ближе к морю, постарше. Мебель уставшая, темновато в номере. Через дорогу-поновее. Номера с выходом иои видом на бассейн. Все отлично! Очень хорошие завтраки. Море рядом. Несколько бассейнов. Из минусов-в очень немногих номерах лесенки в бассейн. У нас не было. Неудобно вылазить из бассейна, можно подскользнуться. Подушки очень высокие и твёрдые. Я так и не нашла для себя удобную, хотя их четыре. В ванне очень мало геля и шампуня(наливают по запросу по одной маленькой бутылочке). Кондиционера для волос нет. Одно маленькое мыльце.

We booked this hotel for 6 nights as part of a bigger trip to Thailand, I have never been to Thailand before and it's a beautiful country but wasnt sure what to expect from the hotels. This hotel is a solid 3 stars we checked in and the staff were friendly and made us welcomed. We was shown to a room but I am afraid it was dark and a bit dirty and it had a adjoining door which is a big no no for me and it was a twin room not a double as requested. I went back to the reception and voiced my concerns and they moved us to a much better room which was bright and clean and had a nice view of the pool. The air con was good and kept the room cool the shower was hot which I love and the maid service was good. You get 2 bottles of free water a day but honestly the food and drinks are so cheap to buy. The breakfast was good and was available from 6.30- 10-30 some strange items on the menu but I guess they cater for all. The pool was ok not overly clean but it was good for what we needed but the usual towel gate from 7am onwards but we did get a space to chill. The best part is the beach it's beautiful and the sunset is stunning you can walk for miles if you want to. We did eat in the restaurant once but we preferred to eat out side the hotel. The restaurants are 30 seconds right out of the door and there is a couple of small supermarkets and a 7-11 as well so you can get drinks etc. we did 2 trips and the transport was always on time and the staff at the hotel will help you with anything. Would I visit again ? Yes I would but please don't think it's a fancy hotel it's not but it's good for a few days to chill out. Tips - take cash not credit cards. And take loads of bug spray you will need it.

This is my worst experience in a hotel ever. The manager’s attitude was inappropriate by telling us that if we don’t like it we can check out straight away and we just arrived. How rude is that?! All started with the check-in. Me and my husband we were very excited by the pool access rooms that the hotel The Briza Beach Resort Khaolak has but unfortunately we are very disappointed by the room that we recieved 1 hour ago, room number 523 that is facing a wall instead of the pool view. I would like to mention that the booking was made in June 2023. From what we are seeing this is their worst pool view room. The room is noisy, people passing by every time, our sun beds are awful because we have the beach ones instead of the nice wooden one like the rest have. Unprepared staff and unprofessional, don’t recommend this hotel. I have never been treated as bad as today by the staff, mostly the manager.

Room 567 perfect and the area in my opinion the best base already done the rafting and elephants. We have a scooter and gone in to khao lak also very nice but I'm so glued chose here. Try komol corner restaurant food is amazing and a good price 👍👍👍

The hotel was excellent but there is no beach and the pool was filthy as the filtration system wasn’t working and a makeshift pump was installed The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained If you want an honest Thai meal turn right from the hotel and walk 5 minutes to the Chomchan family restaurant
